It is also an internationally-renowned bird sanctuary. Wharaiki Beach - amazing sand dunes, rock formations and caves. Well worth the walk to see the baby seals frolicking in the pools. The Langford Store - nestled in the heart of the Aorere valley, 15 minutes inland from Collingwood on the way to the Heaphy track.
