We are just 200 metres from the Old School Cafe and tennis courts, who will tempt you with some amazing menu choices. Collingwood township is just a short drive away. Nearby attractions include: Farewell spit - included in Tripadvisors top 5 hidden beaches in the world and New Zealand’s longest sand spit (25 km) and a nature reserve. It is also an internationally-renowned bird sanctuary. Wharaiki Beach - amazing sand dunes, rock formations and caves. Well worth the walk to see the baby seals frolicking in the pools. The Langford Store - nestled in the heart of the Aorere valley, 15 minutes inland from Collingwood on the way to the Heaphy track. This general store and post office has been providing essentials to the Bainham community and travellers since 1928. Soak up the sunshine and the tranquility of the surrounding scenery.
