Stone House with Exclusive Pool Codilungo in Chianti

Spend a holiday in the heart of the Tuscan countryside in this cozy stone house with terracotta floors and beamed ceilings in solid oak, furnished with paintings of author , equipped with all comforts. Enjoy yourself by swimming in the large infinity pool (18m X 9m, open from May 1st to October 15th for guests of Stone house use only) or relax in an armchair under the loggia, tasting a glass of Chianti wine in front of the rolling hills of vineyards, olive groves, woods and medieval villages. The space The house is equipped with an air conditioning system and a ground heating systemd and offers: - a panoramic living area with wood burning fireplace, arranged with comfortable sofas and a satellite tv 49 inches with Netflix (tv series, films, documentaries) - a well equipped kitchenette with dishwasher, oven, refrigerator, freezer, toaster, american electric coffee maker and italian moka coffee maker, pots and pans; - a small dining area with table and sideboard containing glasses and plates; - a sleeping area with 2 double bedrooms and 1 bedroom with two single beds. The three rooms are carefully furnished and each has its own bathroom (with shower)accessible from the bedroom itself. All bedrooms have satellite TV - small lundry with large sink and washing machine Guest access The house, the garden and the swimming pool are reserved exclusively for guests. The loggias add ideal spaces for outdoor dining, dinners and moments of relaxation surrounded by nature. You can park for free on the host's property, on the side of the dirt road and in front of the entrance to the house. Other things to note The villa is located in Tuscany, the heart of Chianti area and offer a great view of the surrounding hills of vineyards and olive groves. We are half way between Florence and Siena ( 30 minutes by car ) , a 20 -minute drive from San Gimignano , Monteriggioni , Gambassi, Colle di Val d'Elsa and Radda in Chianti , 30 minutes from Certaldo and Greve in Chianti , 40 minutes from Volterra , 1 hour from the sea and just over an hour from Pisa. In the immediate vicinity of the house, you will find excellent restaurants, farms and wineries where you can taste the best wines of our area, routes for bicycles, hot air balloons and many other things. In Poggibonsi , 8 km from the house , it's possible to find supermarkets and shops of every kind open everyday. Not many people know that... Chianti in autumn is a feast for body and for soul, is really a romantic season, the ideal time also for a just a few days holiday : the countryside and the woods are colored of a thousand colors of the falling leaves, the villages come alive with many festivals dedicated to the most authentic products of territory: this is the period in which we collect the precious fruits of a year's work.
