The Hideaway

The Hideaway is an enchanting one room casita situated on the outer crest of the property, The Confluence. Wake up to the sunrise with a lush *View* of the natural countryside from your private deck. The Hideaway is accessed by a foot path (200ft) from the Main House. The Private Bathroom is off of the Main House (200ft walk from the room). From the parking area to the room, it is roughly 400ft. There is no kitchen or cooking appliances other than a hot water kettle and a mini-frig. The space A mini fridge is provided, though there is no kitchen or microwave. Proper heating (heater & wood stove) and cooling (AC & fans) devices are in the casita. Wood and kindling are provided. Tea, water, and coffee are available along with an electric tea kettle, french press, and mugs. Eating utensils are not provided as there are no cooking appliances. If you need to cook, this may not be the best accommodation for you. The Wifi generally works great. The casita has a wifi extender that boosts the signal. Search for "Anahata Lodge Retreat House, Vallecito, CA" for a 2 bedroom house with full bathroom and kitchen on the same property. Guest access One car is allowed for parking in a designated spot that says, "The Hideaway". Parking is on gravel or a dirt road. If you have a circumstance that requires two vehicles please let me know asap. No outside guests or vehicles allowed without permission. From the parking area to the room, it is about 400ft. Other things to note While we do not judge partying, this is not the place to party. (E.g. excessive drinking, etc.) This is a space to relax, recharge, heal, and retreat. Leave the partying to the hotels please, this is our home. Please respect the no smoking rule as we are in a high fire risk zone!! The Hideaway and the Main House are comfortably tucked into the countryside. We do our best to maintain our indoor boundaries with the outdoor creatures. That being said, we are in nature and our insect friends may pay a visit. Additionally, the footpath is manageable with luggage etc. however, there are scattered rocks and tripping hazards so tread with caution. From the parking area to the room, it is about 400ft.
