If you are seeking a rustic farm experience, you will enjoy this renovated dairy barn surrounded by alpaca pastures. Make yourself at home in this cozy and comfortable 500 sq. ft. main level accommodation. Start your days with fresh Organic coffee or a selection of teas. The kitchen includes a full-size refrigerator/freezer, oven, 5-burner electric range, and several small appliances (electric skillet, microwave, toaster, stand mixer, drip coffee maker, coffee grinder, tea kettle, blender). No dishwasher. This accommodation is totally private (nothing is shared except a laundry room) with direct access to the alpacas and gardens. Located in this building are two other private accommodations (one next door and one upstairs) and the farm office. I do my best to ensure you have a memorable stay, yet respect your privacy. Oakwood Gardens is located in the quaint community of Scholls, a hidden gem in the North Willamette Valley wine country. We are minutes from good restaurants, New Seasons Market (local favorite) and Whole Foods Market. Our location is also just over a one hour drive to the beautiful Oregon Coast. It's best to bring your own car (no public transportation). Prepare for Winter driving conditions when applicable. Uber and LYFT are available, but wait times can vary. Guests booking wine tours usually hire a driver (please inquire for referrals). •The accommodation is self-check-in, self-service and self-check-out. Breakfast is not provided.  • This is a 70-acre working farm and this accommodation is surrounded by alpacas. There will occasionally be noise around the exterior for staff to clean pastures, attend to the alpacas, or use equipment to maintain the farm. • You will smell alpaca manure outside.  • Additional guests are not allowed to sleep over. This accommodation is for up to two adult guests.  • If you plan to explore the farm and garden, please bring appropriate shoes for wet or muddy terrain. • The farm is located near a small privately owned airpark for light aircraft. You may hear an airplane on occasion. They also give private tours of the Willamette Valley. Please inquire if interested in booking. • If you are staying long-term (over one month) there is a $75.00 cleaning fee. In addition, different rules apply regarding amenities.
