Arhimser is a superb 450 sqm beachfront villa in Ranna, Tangalle with a pool and direct beach access. The villa has 4 large 40 sqm bedrooms with sea views designed for maximum comfort. Its central location is ideal for travelers to chill out or visit the nearby game parks and other attractions nearby. For 7 night stays free pick up or drop off with option to buy own groceries using the free services of chef to prepare meals. Breakfast, daily cleaning and taxes are included in the rate. The space Arhimser villa is located on one of the best beaches in the Southern Coastline, the most popular tourist belt in Sri Lanka. Built on an acre of beautiful beachfront, landscaped with lawn and tropical plants. The pristine beach and wide shoreline is a paradise to explore and enjoy the beauty of nature. On a full moon night one might see the turtles come ashore to lay their eggs. Each bedroom, lounge, dining and rear veranda has a magnificent view of the ocean and pool. The 4 large bedrooms with ensuites accommodate 8 guests with provision for an extra bed each in 2 of the rooms to accommodate up to 10. A charge of USD 40 applies for each extra bed. The rooms are airy, light filled, airconditioned, with ceiling fans, hot water, separate shower cubicle, twin wash basins, hair dryer, baggage racks, combination safes and hand bidet. Each room has direct access to the beach, veranda, pool and cabana. Meals can be ordered off the menu which has Asian, local and western dishes. A resident manager and staff live on site in separate staff quarters. We do not sell liquor but guests are allowed to bring their own supplies for consumption for which there is no charge. Whilst public transport is available, we suggest that three wheelers or tuk tuks be used for getting around the neighborhood. Enjoy a walk on the beach, a game of badminton or beachball or chess or bridge, a swim in the pool or laze in the cabana with your favorite GT or cocktail or have a yoga lesson or ayurvedic herbal massage for complete relaxation. Guest access Guests have direct access to the beach 20 meters away from the villa. The large open patio overlooking the pool and sea provides for privacy and relaxation with direct access from each room. The entire ground floor building is set on one acre of superb beach. Free parking for 6 -8 vehicles available. The lagoon located 50 meters away offers boat rides where a variety of birds are sighted. Private vehicles or package tours can be arranged for day or half day trips to the many tourist attractions including the two major game reserves Yala and Udawalawe, the elephant orphanage, the popular, cool hill town of Ella famous for the nine arch railway bridge built by the British in 1919 with its rolling hills and tea plantations and magical waterfalls and mountain treks, enjoy surfing, snorkeling and diving or see dolphins and whales nearby or for a game of golf the International Golf Resort is a 20 minute drive. Visit the UNESCO listed Heritage City of Galle and swim with the turtles at Unawatuna beach or see the turtles come ashore at the Rekawa turtle beach ten minutes away. Bird lovers can take a boat ride minutes away to the famous Kalametiya Bird Sanctuary where you will see over 60 species of migratory and local birds feeding and nesting in the mangrove marshes of this unique lake. For those who want to relax , restore inner peace, reenergize the body and mind and partake in the tranquility and beauty of nature, absorb the glorious sunsets, relax in the pool or sip a cocktail by the sea, explore the beach and enjoy every minute of your stay. The listed rate includes breakfast. Meals ordered off the a la carte menu are priced upwards of USD 10 per meal and USD 4-8 for kids meals, vegetarian, light meals, soups, salads, entrees, deserts and snacks. Both local, Asian and western cuisine and vegetarian and gluten free meals are available 2. The whole villa is solely for the exclusive use of the resident guests. 3. Kids must always be supervised by the parents when in the swimming pool. 4. Guests staying 7 nights or more get (a) free airport pick up or drop off travelling together (b) a free wash only laundry service with guests doing their own ironing. (c) the option of buying their own groceries and using the services of the chef to prepare personalized meals at no extra fee. 10 night stay guests get free pick up and drop off. 10% discount on meals. For stays less than 7 nights pick up can be provided at rates to be agreed. 5. Kids must be supervised at all times by parents when in the pool and pool rules strictly followed. 6. Guests can bring their own supplies of alcohol and spirits for consumption at the villa for which there is no charge. 7. We accept Mastercard and Visa credit cards as well as USD, Euro dollar or LKR currency notes. We arrange for transport and excursions to the many popular spots on the southern coastline. For guests renting vehicles, driver accommodation can be arranged outside at USD 5-7 per night. The sea is normally calm and is swimmable, but there are times when the sea can turn rough and is not advisable to swim. The local fruit and veggie markets are open almost daily within close proximity where a variety of fresh produce grown by the local farmers is sold. The town of Ranna is about 4 kms away and Tangalle city 12 kms away. The drive from Colombo/airport to the Villa on the Southern Expressway takes about 90-120 minutes. The villa is fully serviced with WIFI, 3 phase electricity, piped water and bituminized roads. A 30 KVA auto switch over generator is installed for power back up. Visa and Mastercard are accepted as well as high denomination USD, Euro dollar or LKR cash notes.
