Keranmeriet is a small hamlet set in 100acres beautiful countryside, only 15 mins from miles of stunning beaches. A peaceful environment with abundant wildlife, nearby the historic towns, Pont-Aven, Quimper and Concarneau. Heated pool (summer months), indoor games barn, ping pong table, outdoor play area, river. Fast Wifi Linen/towel hire is not included in the rental price. 15€ per guest. Cleaning is left to the discretion of guests; however, we can provide this service upon request,(80€). The space The Dairy 1 bedroom - 2 adults or 2 adults, 1 child or baby. It has disabled facilities with wheelchair access and a wet room. It is all on one level with an open plan lounge (with a sofa bed) with kitchen/dining area and a separate bedroom. The lounge has an angle sofa which can also be converted to a double bed. There is a TV, DVD player and French and English satellite decoders and a coffee table In the dining/Kitchen area, there is a large dining table with seating for 4. The Kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, kettle, Tassimo coffee maker, toaster, fridge with freezer box and crockery/cutlery for 8 people. Cleaning materials are supplied. There is a bathroom with anti slip floor tiles, it has a shower, sink and toilet. It is also suitable for a wheelchair/disabled use and has grab rails by the toilet and shower. The shower, toilet and sink are suitable for disability users. A separate bedroom with a double bed, bedside cabinets, wardrobe, dressing table and stool. It has double aspect windows overlooking the garden and valley. WIFI is free. English and French satellite TV. As well as the play area, with swings, slide and sand pit there is an indoor play barn with lots of toys and a table tennis table. Guest access We have 100 acres which are available for our Guests use. You can go exploring in our woods, (the children love to make a camp) and there is also a meadow that has a Trout pond with an island. The river Aven also borders the meadow for 1km, which children can go paddling in. There are also a couple of picnic tables for our guests use. You can go cycling or walking around the farm and the surrounding area. The 36ft pool is heated and is enclosed with a security gate, there are plenty of sun loungers and parasols. There is an outdoor play area with swings, slide, sand pit and see-saw. Lastly there is an indoor games barn with a ping pong table and some other games for our guests use. Plenty of parking is available on site. It is advisable to have a car to visit the area. Although we have a TGV station 2km away and bus services nearby. Other things to note The exterior pool is heated during the summer, please note it is open from 20th May to 30th September. WIFI is free and fast service. English and French satellite TV. As well as the play area, with swings, slide and sand pit there is Games barn with a table tennis table and other games/toys. We keep chickens (fresh free range eggs), ducks and turkeys and also have bee hives where we produce our own honey. (The hives are kept away from the cottages so you wouldn't know they were there!). During June (one week) you will see the occasional tractor when we are hay making.
