The Old Gun Room

The Old Gun Room is a recently refurbished self contained annex to an 1840s home set in land and gardens in the Shropshire Lakelands a mile from the village of Welshampton and near to the town of Ellesmere. It sleeps two with the option of a cot bed if required. Linen and towels are supplied but please provide your own bedding for the cot bed. This is a fully self contained holiday let with an en-suite bedroom with king size bed, kitchen diner with log burner and seating area. There is ample off road parking and access to the gardens, which were recently opened for the National Garden Scheme, and croquet lawn. The property is situated in the Shropshire Lakelands on the Welsh border and is an ideal base year round whether your preference is for walking holidays or to enjoy the shops and amenities of nearby Shrewsbury and Chester. Welshampton is a quiet rural village with a beautiful church and good country pub.
