L'Orangerie, with indoor heated pool

Domaine de La Girardière, a property with character in the Vendée, is the perfect place for your vacation. Spreading over 14 hectares of park, woods and meadows punctuated by large paths, the property is a refuge for biodiversity (LPO refuge label). L'Orangerie is perfect for a couple. It welcomes you for a comfortable stay, quiet, surrounded by nature, with a large indoor swimming pool and close to many activities. (banks of the Yon, beach, amusement parks, golf, horseback riding...) The space L'Orangerie, with a surface area of 40 m2, is classified 3***. It has a capacity for 2 people, with a bedroom and a shower room. For your convenience, our rates include linens (sheets, towels, bath mats and dish towels) and all utilities (water, electricity,, Wi-Fi) and end-of-stay cleaning. Upon your departure, the house must be returned in a normal state of use, the furniture in its original place, the beds unmade and the dishes clean and tidy. The price shown also includes the platform fees. Outside, you have a garden table and chairs, a charcoal barbecue, and sun loungers at your disposal. You must bring your own beach towels for the pool and charcoal. The washing machine is located in a separate room located near the house. It is shared with the occupants of the other two cottages on the property. Guest access A large, shared, heated swimming pool measuring 13.5 m x 5 m is available for your use between 10 am and 8 pm (flexible and adaptable hours). It is very pleasant to swim even in bad weather because the enclosure is large and retains the heat perfectly. When the sun is shining, we fully open up the pool, and you can then swim in a beautiful green setting. Access to the entire Domaine de La Girardière is free (park, woods, meadows). We ourselves live in the Chateau. The Logis des Ponnes (maximum 8 people) and the Logis de l'Ecuyer (maximum 6 people) are also available for holiday rental (there are no other inhabitants in the hamlet). The houses are completely independent and are not adjoining: they are spread throughout the hamlet and each has a private, unfenced garden. The roads are more than 500 m away, and it is absolutely quiet. It is not uncommon to see deer, squirrels, hedgehogs, owls and many other birds depending on the season. The park is planted with redwoods, blue cedars, Himalayan weeping pines, silver lindens, purple beeches, magnolias, walnuts, chestnut trees, yews, etc. The woods are planted with oaks, hornbeams, beeches, chestnut trees, hazel trees, etc. There are many paths for walking. The banks of the Yon are directly accessible on foot from the hamlet: they offer a pleasant walk in all seasons, and in summer, they allow you to cool off in the shade of the trees, with your feet in the water of the river. Fishing is possible. Many other cycling and walking routes are also possible. Tennis court, children's games and basketball court in the village of Le Tablier (2 km away) Nearby: possibility of horse-drawn carriage rides and hikes with donkeys. Your pets, dogs and cats are welcome, and we do not charge extra fees. They must be mentioned in the reservation. It should be noted that the property is not fenced. Two dogs (Labrador retrievers), two cats, two horses, and chickens live in the hamlet. Other things to note Each stay contributes to the renovation of the site: interior work, restoration, replacement of door frames, replacement of windows and doors, insulation, installation of heating, etc. It also contributes to the maintenance of the beautiful park.
