Description
Ideal for a quiet stay, the Orangerie is located in the charming little hamlet of the Château de La Girardière, a magnificent site adorned with centuries-old trees (14 ha of park, woods and meadows punctuated by large alleys). This pretty little bright house, with a surface area of 40 m2, welcomes you, for a stay in the heart of nature, close to many activities (banks of the Yon, beach, leisure parks, golf, horseback riding...) The space The Orangerie is classified 3 *** stars. It has a capacity of 2 people (one bedroom for 2 people). For your comfort, our rates include linens (sheets, towels, bath mats and tea towels), end-of-stay cleaning and all charges (water, electricity, Wi-Fi) When you leave, the house must be returned in a normal state of use, the furniture in its original, the bed undone and the dishes clean and tidy. The house is very well-equipped. If you want to cook, you have all the necessary equipment: food processor, scales, cake and cake molds, dishes, etc. A raclette machine, a crepe maker and a pierrade are at your disposal. Outside you have at your disposal a garden table and chairs, a charcoal barbecue and Chilean chairs. Beach towels for the pool and charcoal are not provided. The washing machine is located in a separate room near the house. Guest access A large shared heated swimming pool of 13.5 m x 5 m is at your disposal, between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. (flexible and adaptable hours). It is very pleasant to swim even in bad weather because the shelter is large and perfectly retains the heat. When the sun is shining, we fully uncover the pool and you can swim in a beautiful green setting. Access to the entire Domaine de La Girardière is free (park, woods, meadows). We live in the castle ourselves. The Logis des Ponnes and the Logis de l'Ecuyer are also offered for seasonal rental (there are no other inhabitants in the hamlet). The houses are completely independent and are not adjoining: they are distributed in the hamlet and each have a private, unfenced garden. The roads are more than 500 m away and the calm is absolute. It is not uncommon to see deer, squirrels, hedgehogs, owls and many other birds depending on the season. The park is planted with redwoods, blue cedars, Himalayan weeping pines, silver linden trees, purple beeches, magnolias, walnuts, chestnuts, yews... The wood is planted with oaks, hornbeams, beeches, chestnuts, hazelnuts... Many paths allow you to walk there. The banks of the Yon are accessible directly on foot from the hamlet: they offer a pleasant walk in all seasons and in summer, they allow you to cool off in the shade of the trees, with your feet in the water of the river. Fishing is possible. Many other cycling and walking routes are also possible. Tennis court, children's games and basketball court in the village of Tablier (2 km away) Nearby: possibility of horse-drawn rides and hikes with donkeys. Your pets, dogs and cats are welcome and we do not charge extra fees. Mentioning them in the reservation is mandatory. It should be noted that the area is not fenced. Two dogs (labradors), two cats, two horses and chickens live in the hamlet. Other things to note Each stay contributes to the renovation of the site: interior work, renovations, change of frames, change of windows and doors, insulation, installation of heating, etc. It also contributes to the maintenance of the beautiful park. We offer several optional services: 1- Breakfast: €10 incl. VAT*/person/day (to be booked no later than 48 hours before your arrival). 2- Rental of a barnum (6 m x 3 m): €180 incl.
