The Artists Retreat.
The Artists Retreat.
Description
The Artists Retreat is surrounded by the woods outside and art work inside. The main living area was redesigned over a decade and a half ago accenting a beautiful open space perfect for entertaining or just relaxing. A giant arched window overlooks a landscaped yard. Two attached decks also welcome you into the surrounding forest. A large chain link fence in the back yard helps to keep the dogs in. There are also two attached sun rooms. The space The front entry room provides access to two closets when you enter that you are welcome to use for storage. I typically keep 8-10 bags of pellets stored on the floor of one of the closets for your use. The main living area with the giant arched window has two couches to relax on as well as several book shelves with access to games, travel literature and plenty of recreational reading. There is a medium size TV with a DVD player available as well. On the walls around you are quite a few beautiful watercolors inspiring the creative side of our brains:) The kitchen space has a large center island for entertaining and is adjacent to the dining area. The dining table with chandelier provides views to the front and thru the side arched window. To the back of the house you will find the two bedrooms, each with their own sunrooms attached and private entries as well. We typically don’t use these attached sunrooms in the winter but they make for nice light all year long. Guest access All of the bedrooms and living spaces are accessible on the main level. There is one closet off the master bath (back bedroom) that we keep locked up. During the winter the back sunroom is generally kept closed due to the added heating costs but you are welcome to check it out:). The downstairs basement is partially finished but not currently available as it is being used for storage. I have always found the upstairs main living area to be the most inviting place to spend my time. Other things to note The water is provided via a private community well that is regularly tested and monitored and is good to drink.
