Enjoy the serenity of the mountains while having the convenience of a central location The cabin is 1 mile from the Village--1.2 miles to Summit Resort---3 miles to Bear Mountain There is a bus stop a couple blocks away right in front of Big 5. The "In to the Woods Cabin" is one of four cabins on the property of Inspirations at Big Bear Lake. The property is convenient to Big Bear Village & restaurants and both ski resorts and only a couple blocks from Meadows Park and the lake. This cabin is a bit different than the other three. It is more like a studio apartment with a king bed, double futon couch and bath. There is a microwave, refrigerator and sink. The bathroom has a shower. This cabin also has a fireplace. Also each cabin has Satellite TV and WiFi. Note:Mountain WiFi is not as consistent as Big City WiFi. Inspirations was created as a place for guests to come to enjoy and refresh in the beautiful Southern California mountains. There is also a main house and project rooms for groups. Each cabin (and room in the main house) is decorated around a theme that Lorraine, the Inn Keeper, thinks inspire people. The yard is a fun and peaceful place to read or just sit and relax. Have established the designation of being a Hummingbird and Butterfly habitat. There is lots to do in Big Bear in every season. Clean air and friendly people make Big Bear Lake the best mountain vacation in Southern California. So come on up and enjoy. Please note: The $135 rate is for up to 2 adults and two children(under 12). There is an additional fee of $25 for each adult over 2 per night. If a family, make the reservation for two and then let Lorraine know about the kids(up to two) so pricing will be correct. Please note: There is a two night minimum stay on three day holiday weekends. Christmas Holiday season, Dec. 15-Jan. 7 has a three night minimum. Two night mimimum for spring break. Check in at 2pm and check out at 11am. Please note: There is a two night minimum for Spring Break. Parking info: There is parking for ONE regular sized car. If you have an over sized vehicle, you will need to contact Lorraine. Also contact her if you are planning on more than one car. Winter Snow Policy: Consideration will be given to re-booking your stay if snow fall closes two of the three roads into Big Bear the day of your arrival. This would be available to you for the period within 90 days of your reservation. NO PETS ALLOWED IN THIS CABIN This cabin is only available for overnight rentals November to April. See calendar for available dates. Snow Policy: If two of the three roads to Big Bear close due to snow, I will give a credit for a future stay, if requested within 90 days. Aside from the cozy comfort of the cabin, there is a great outdoor seating area with an outdoor fire pit.(propane-no open fires allowed)-not available in the winter Picnic tables and BBQ which is on the deck of the main house.(not available in winter) Even though the cabin is close to everything in Big Bear, it remains a quite mountain experience.
