Classic summer cottage perched just footsteps above beautiful Lake Messalonskee shoreline. Perfect for R&R with peaceful lakeside views. Enjoy the breeze while sunbathing, canoeing, or kayaking right from the dock. Short road trips to Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park, and more won't disappoint. Modest open living spaces, fully functional kitchen, dining table, wood burning stove, screened in porch, large picture window, 3 bedrooms, 1 1/2 small baths (stall shower). You will have access to the entire cottage and the dock directly in front of the cottage. The water recreational devices (canoe, paddle boat, and kayaks) are available for use at your own risk. Exercise safety precautions when using these items. You must wear a floatation device (or have a floatation device present in the boat) while actively using the recreational device. Guests may contact us through Airbnb website. Other unit owners are friendly and will be happy to answer questions about the area. Please direct any complaints or problem inquiries with us directly via Airbnb email/text. Please observe the following guidelines: -Pets of renters are not permitted. -There is a binder in the cottage that will be placed in obvious view. Please refer to this as it will contain additional general guidelines, tips, and important phone numbers. - Parking is restricted to 2 vehicles immediately adjacent to the cottage. Please do not block roads or access to other units. Additional cars should be parked in the upper road area. Boat trailers must be parked in the upper road area. Campers or trailers are not allowed in the camp/cottage area. -Maintain slow driving speed -The large beach is common area and available for everyone's use. Tents, laundry, fishing or cooking are not allowed on the common beach. Glass containers are not allowed in any common area. -Each unit has an assigned dock/beach area which should be considered private property. -A dumpster is provided for disposal of household trash only. It is located on the upper road. Please put trash in closed bags and replace/close the lid of the dumpster. -Fireworks are illegal in Maine and are not permitted. -8 people per rental unit is the limit. -Please respect the privacy of others and their right to a peaceful stay. Be courteous with noise and activity during the evening/night hours as sound carries.
