15th century house on a hill, in the middle of the orchard

"Pestory" is a beautiful stone and wood country house, nestled on top of a hill surrounded by orchards. A beautiful open wooded garden of 4500 m2 with a large swimming pool of 10x5, its terrace with deckchairs as well as a summer kitchen with fridge, barbecue, pizza oven to be placed on the barbecue. House is great for up to 3 families with kids (3 couples/8 kids). The space Pestory is listed in the General Inventory of the Cultural Heritage of Aquitaine because it is a "partial stacking" construction (the walls are composed of wooden beams planed with an axe and stacked horizontally). It dates from the late 15th or early 16th century. The large wooded garden is surrounded by plum and hazel trees. The garden and the house are equipped for family vacations with activities for young and old: swimming pool, swing, trampoline, petanque court, archery, Molky. You will also find in the covered areas, foosball, darts Pestory is in 2 parts: - The main house with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room and a large kitchen with fireplace. - The barn converted into a dormitory with 6 single beds and 1 double bed in the mezzanine, a kitchen (microwave, sink, fridge, individual hob), a bathroom When we spend our holidays there, the parents sleep in the main house and all the children in the dormitory. (Please note, you have to go outside to go from one to the other) The composition of the house room by room: On the ground floor: The entrance to the house is through the living room, cars can be parked right in front. The comfortable living room with 2 sofas, a TV, DVD player gives access to the kitchen with a table for 12, a large functional fireplace. It is fully equipped (stovetop, oven, dishwasher, microwave, American fridge (fresh water and ice cubes at will), coffee maker, kettle, toaster, soda Stream... A first bedroom with a double bed (160), its en-suite bathroom, including the washing machine + iron and ironing board. The original entrance of the house that gives access to the toilet, stairs to go upstairs and a covered terrace with sofas and darts Upstairs: A large bathroom with shower, bathtub, toilet and double sink as well as a beautiful view of the garden! The "Pierre" bedroom with 1 double bed 160, 1 single bed 80 and a small closet and sink space The "Black" room with 1 double bed 160 and a small separate space to possibly put a baby bed The mezzanine is equipped with a desk area The barn A large open space with a mezzanine (1 double bed 160) and 6 single beds. A kitchen area (hotplates, microwave and fridge), as well as a bathroom that has just been redone with bathtub, shower and toilet A veranda with a foosball table and many board games The Garden The garden invites you to play or relax, everyone can find a quiet corner for their deckchair or enjoy the 10x5 swimming pool with its terrace or activities available: swing, trampoline, petanque court, brazier, archery, Molky... A summer kitchen with fridge; barbecue, pizza oven to put on the barbecue. Non-smoking house Other things to note The house is located in the "Cœur des Bastides" in the Lot et Garonne at the gates of the Périgord. The area offers many tours and activities.
