15th century house on a hill, in the middle of the orchard

“Pestory” is a beautiful country house in stone and wood, nestled up a hill surrounded by orchards. A beautiful open wooded garden of 4500 m2 with a large 10x5 swimming pool,its terrace with deckchairs as well as a summer kitchen with fridge, barbecue, pizza oven to put on the barbecue. The house is ideal for accommodating up to 3 families with children (3 couples / 8 children). The space Pestory is listed in the General Inventory of the Cultural Heritage of Aquitaine because it is a "partial stacking" construction (the walls are composed of impotted wooden beams and stacked horizontally). It dates back to the late 15th century or early 16th century. The large wooded garden is surrounded by plum and hazelnut garden. The garden and house are equipped for a family holiday with activities for young and old: swimming pool, swing, trampoline, pétanque court, archery, Molky. You will also find in covered areas, foosball table, darts Pestory is in 2 parts: - The main house with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room and a large kitchen with fireplace. - The barn converted into a dormitory with 6 single beds and 1 double bed on the mezzanine, a kitchen (microwave oven, sink, fridge, individual stove), a bathroom When we spend our holidays there, parents sleep in the main house and all the children in the dorm. (Be careful, you have to go outside to go from one to the other) The composition of the house room by room: On the ground floor: Check-in for the house is through the living room, cars can be parked right in front in front. The comfortable living room with 2 sofas, TV, DVD player gives access to the kitchen with a table for 12, a large functional period fireplace. It is fully equipped (stovetop, oven, dishwasher, microwave, American fridge (fresh water and unlimited ice), coffee maker, kettle, toaster, soda stream... A first bedroom with a double bed (160), its ensuite bathroom, including the washing machine + iron and ironing board. The original entrance to the house which gives access to the toilet, stairs to go upstairs and a covered terrace with sofas and darts games Upstairs: A large bathroom with shower, toilet bathtub and double vanity as well as a beautiful view of the garden! The "Pierre" room with 1 double bed 160, 1 single bed 80 and a small closet and sink area The "Noir" room with 1 double bed 160 and a small separate space to optionally put a cot The mezzanine is equipped with a desk area The barn A large open space with a mezzanine (1 double bed 160) and 6 single beds. A kitchen area (stovetop, microwave and fridge), as well as a bathroom that has just been redone with bathtub, shower and toilet A veranda with foosball and many board games The garden The garden invites games or relaxation, everyone can find a quiet area for their deckchair or enjoy the 10x5 pool with its terrace or activities available: swing, trampoline, pétanque court, fire pit, archer, Molky... A summer kitchen with fridge; BBQ, pizza oven to be placed on the barbecue.
