The space This open-concept home is great for hanging out and for heading out for adventures because of its convenient location in southern York, Maine. There is a large deck walkway connecting to a large driveway and a huge backyard and wooded surroundings, where you'll see birds, squirrels, occasional deer and other critters. Southside Road is one the area's prettiest roadways and runs straight to York Village. Southside Cottage is a 1930s home that's been updated and now features a rustic outdoor shower and outdoor sink. Guests have the house to themselves. The bedroom, full bath, kitchen, living room and laundry are all on the same floor. The kitchen is simple but well equipped. The countertops are cool and unique, custom made with surfboard fiberglass. High speed WIFI will keep you connected. Living room TV streaming Amazon and Netflix. Three excellent restaurants are less than a mile away from the house. Turn right out the driveway and you'll arrive at historic Sewell's Bridge, York Village, York Harbor and the beaches. Your host is a York local who grew up across the street has hosted AirBnB guests for 10 years. Guest access The home and the sizeable property is yours to enjoy. The home affords a lot of privacy. There is ample parking and a beautiful tree-line backyard. There is a fire pit and an outdoor shower you are free to use. Other things to note The space is set up for one or two guests with one bedroom and one double bed. There a very large couch that can serve as a second bed if needed. Extra sheets are there for that purpose.
