Half-timbered house in the gold village Otersen
Near the Aller between Marsch and Geest is the cottage next to an old Niedersachsenhaus and other half-timbered buildings on our farm grounds. It has been expanded in 2015 as a holiday home with underfloor heating. Inside, the clay plaster is painted sunny yellow. It is stylishly decorated with Roman-themed old-fashioned laced blinds with a lace insert and an old bricked, ornate iron stove used as a fireplace. A beautiful comfortable staircase leads to the bedroom, in which the "Hahnenbalken" can be seen. There is a marriage bed, a crib and a desk. There is also a second connection for the TV. Upstairs is another toilet with hand basin. The Biedermeyer bed in the living room is used as a chaise longue or as a bed. In addition, a lounger can be set up. In the living area is a well-stocked kitchen. Radio and TV are available. The bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower. There is no step outside the staircase. Overnight stays should include several days. On request, a course in the spinning and dyeing of sheep's wool can be made. Otersen has a Bürgerladen. The Allerfähre runs across the river from May to October. Then on Sundays, the cafe 'with homemade cake is open. On the "Green Plan" concrete paths you can ride a wonderful bike and make long walks in the forest.
