Haff-Hus: Vacation home right on the Szczecin Lagoon

Friendly vacation home for up to four adults and one toddler on the Szczecin Lagoon. Here you can spend quiet vacation days (car-free), relax in nature close to, in and on the water. The Szczecin Lagoon is only 100 meters away, where the small harbor and the jetty of the bungalow settlement are located. Many use the bathing jetty for morning or evening swimming. On the surrounding benches, you can enjoy the first coffee of the day or a glass of wine at dusk. The space We bought the Haff-Hus in 2021 and extensively renovated it in 2022. It offers its guests everything they need for a relaxing vacation in the Scandinavian bright style on 50 square meters: In the large, bright living room there is a TV and satellite reception, a hi-fi system with a Bluetooth receiver, a comfortable leather sofa with two armchairs and a solid dining table with four chairs. The cozy bedroom consists of a solid, 160 cm wide beech wood bed with two high-quality Ravensberger mattresses, two bedside tables with reading lamps and a spacious wardrobe in which there is room for linen and clothes for the whole family. The window has blackout pleats and mosquito netting. The small bedroom has two solid single beds with high-quality Ravensberger mattresses, a bedside table with reading lamp and two large wall cabinets. The beds here are 80 cm wide, but only 190 cm long. The window has a blackout roller blind and mosquito netting. The new fitted kitchen is equipped with an additional shelf for supplies, spice rack, large fridge with freezer, stove with ceramic hob, extractor hood and oven, microwave, quiet dishwasher, coffee machine, coffee pad machine, kettle, toaster, bread box and hand mixer. The bright bathroom has a large, floor-level shower, which is essential for a beach and swimming vacation. In addition to the sink with mirror and toilet, there is a hairdryer and a small corner shelf. There is a high chair, a travel cot (without bed linen), an Ikea step and children's tableware. The sunny terrace (from morning to afternoon sun) offers space for four people and a toddler at the dining table with chairs. In the garden, you can chill on the Hollywood swing and four high-backed chairs (plus side table). Two parasols are provided. Guest access If you need bed linen and towels, they can be rented for €20 per person. In a laundry room, there is a washing machine and dryer available to the entire settlement after prior reservation. There is no Internet access available yet. Other things to note Garden and surroundings In the newly designed 200 sqm garden there is a Hollywood swing and four comfortable garden chairs with a smaller poly rattan table. A ping-pong table with rackets and balls awaits exciting games. A new grill is available for barbecue evenings. By the way, from our garden entrance there is a direct "Haffblick" [view of the lagoon]. The garden is not directly visible and therefore offers sufficient privacy. The harbor and beach of Mönkebude with its beach chairs, new playground, changing rooms, showers, clean toilets, boat rental, snack bar and restaurant is only a 900-meter walk on the dyke from the bungalow estate. No car ride or annoying parking search is necessary to spend a great day swimming in the shallow lagoon. The area is especially ideal for families with children. Mönkebude is a small, friendly place with an old church, a beautiful harbor, bicycle rental, supermarket with bakery, several good restaurants and a dentist. For water sports enthusiasts, the lagoon with its various possibilities (e.g. sailing, surfing, SUP, motor boating) is the purest paradise. From here, many cycling and hiking routes also lead along the Szczecin Lagoon. The location is perfect for excursions to the surrounding towns such as Ueckermünde and Anklam or for a day trip to Usedom. Numerous tourist attractions such as zoo, museum village, climbing forest, swimming pool, boat rental, lagoon tours and raft rides are nearby.
