Welcome to Elmbank, our Highland stopover perfect for two couples, a group of friends or a family of 4 exploring the Loch Ness area or travelling to/from the Isle of Skye. Our compact accommodation includes two bedrooms (one double, one twin) each with a shower room. There is also a sunroom. There is no kitchen or cooking facilities but a range of dining options are available nearby. Situated in Lewiston village near Drumnadrochit beside the Great Glen Way, we are ideal for a one night stay. The space Elmbank is located next to our house in the same grounds with a private entrance. Free off-road parking in front of the annex is available for your convenience. The annex accommodates up to four guests in two bedrooms, each equipped with its own en-suite shower room and toilet. You'll also have a conservatory where you can relax. Please note that there are no kitchen or cooking facilities, but you'll find a variety of dining options nearby. Cutlery, plates, and glasses are provided, allowing you to bring your own 'ready-to-eat' food and drinks to enjoy in the conservatory. The double room includes a small fridge, and both rooms come with tea and coffee making facilities along with a kettle. For local dining, we recommend the Loch Ness Inn, just down the road, known for its delicious food. The popular Fiddlers Restaurant is further along in the village and for breakfast and lunch, consider Cafe Eighty2 which is closeby or Ness Deli on the Village Square. Additionally, a Scotmid supermarket is only a few minutes' walk away for any essentials you may need. Wifi is available with the best connectivity found in the conservatory. It is not always a great service but it is the best we can get in the area. Guest access You will have sole use of Elmbank and you can come and go as you please. Our house is located next door in the same grounds as the annex. There is an outdoor seating area with table and chairs for when the sun shines (it does happen at times!). There are lovely places to enjoy meals nearby. Please be aware, this accommodation does not include a kitchen OR cooking facilities, so eating out is recommended. We do provide plates etc in the conservatory and a fridge so you can bring your own ready to eat snacks/breakfast. Other things to note As one of the few accommodation providers offering one-night stays, we manage a daily cleaning schedule for the annex and laundry. To maintain this standard, the cleaning fee is included in your booking cost. Additionally, to allow us time for preparation, check in is from 4pm-10pm and check out is by 10am. As a small family-run business your understanding and cooperation is appreciated. Our accommodation sleeps a strict maximum of 4 guests, including babies and children. Our insurance does not permit us to have any more. Food must not be consumed in the bedrooms, and no cooking of any kind is permitted on the premises. This includes not using the kettles for boiling eggs. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside any part of the annex. However, smokers are welcome to use the designated outdoor area by the conservatory, where an ashtray is provided. Unfortunately, pets are not permitted at Elmbank (due to allergies).
