CASA AURI (Claudia and Victor)

Casa Auri is a traditional stone house, located in centre of Faial da Terra, an ideal location to explore the East part of São Miguel Island (67km/1h15’ from PDL airport). 1 double room with foam mattress 190cmX140cm. Sitting room: tv, wi-if, sofás. Equipped kitchen, bathroom (please check the lists). Patio, little garden, private parking. Near Casa Auri: famous trails like Salto do Prego, Sanguinho. This small village has a beach and little pool (lifeguards in Summer). Snack-bar, supermarket. The space It’s also important to rent a car due to the distances involved, to cross the island is about 100 Km (62 miles). In Summer time is advisable to rent a car as much in advance as possible. Guest access “Casa Auri” has self check-in key box. Check-in after 4pm. Check-out maximum 12pm. Other things to note São Miguel is an island where public transportation, besides taxi, is not widely available. To rent a car is essential due to the fact that roads can be quite steep in the hilly parts of the island.  It’s also important to rent a car due to the distances involved, to cross the island is about 100 Km (62 miles).
