“Casa AuriI” is a lovely and traditional stone house, located in the centre of the little village of Faial da Terra, an ideal location to explore the East part of São Miguel Island! Near by “Casa Auri”: famous trails of Salto do Prego, Cagarrão and Sanguinho; beach with lifeguards in Summer time and little public pool; snack-bar and supermarket. From Ponta Delgada airport to Faial da Terra by car: 67km, 1h15’. “Casa Auri” has a private park. The space It’s also important to rent a car due to the distances involved, to cross the island is about 100 Km (62 miles). In Summer time is advisable to rent a car as much in advance as possible. Guest access “Casa Auri” has self check-in key box. Check-in after 4pm. Check-out maximum 12pm. Other things to note São Miguel is an island where public transportation, besides taxi, is not widely available. To rent a car is essential due to the fact that roads can be quite steep in the hilly parts of the island.  It’s also important to rent a car due to the distances involved, to cross the island is about 100 Km (62 miles).
