The space Welcome to my humble abode! 🏠 If you’re clean, honest, friendly, peaceful, and cool with people from all walks of life, we’ll get along great But if you’re a night owl, a light sleeper 😴, or not a fan of working-class neighborhoods, this might not be your cup of tea. Kitchen Rules: You get your own fridge and pantry space (no food fights, please!). Feel free to raid the “FREE TO SHARE” bin, but remember, your secret stash goes in your space. About Me: I consider myself laid-back, fair, clean, and introverted. I don’t drink or smoke - my highs come from music, food, sports, and art. I’m a morning person, up at 7 AM and lights out by 11 PM. Looking forward to meeting you! Guest access PARKING: If available, a parking sticker can be purchased. Otherwise, are you okay parking for free on the adjacent public street? (about a 2-3 minute walk from our unit) BATHROOM Located down the hall to your right. Please wipe down any water on the floor after using the sink or shower in consideration for the next guest. KITCHEN Anything you’d like to keep private, please keep it inside the pantry and fridge space marked with your name/room. Please wipe down the stove after cooking. Thank you! Generally the kitchen is available 7AM-11PM and for cooking between 8AM-9PM. LAUNDRY: Offsite. There are 3 laundromats within walking distance. GENERAL: Please turn off lights and fans when you leave the house. There are notes posted around the house with info on house rules, best practices and general info. There is no curfew. You may come and go as you please. Just keep in mind that the housemates go to bed around 11PM and wake around 7AM. Please be respectful of the other guests in the house by keeping noise level down. 10:00 pm is usually a good quiet time. This is a smoke and drug free house. No pets please (allergies and all that). Make yourself at home and let me know if you have any questions. During your stay Curated guests are clean and respectful. No pets are allowed but smoking is okay outside in the back patio .::A little bit about me::. - middle age Asian male, straight (if that matters to you, gender and race are not important to me as much as character) - I'm reasonably laid-back, fair, considerate, and clean. But don't take my word for it. Previous guests have left reviews. - I don't drink or smoke, I just get high on music, food, movement/sports, and art. I'm looking for someone with a similar approach to life. I'm okay if you smoke but please keep it outside. There is an backyard patio. - I am an introvert, keep to myself. - I am a morning person and creature of habit, wake around 7:30AM and off to bed around 11:30PM. - Although I prefer to live with guests I could also consider a friend, I do not expect that. My only caveat is that rent is paid on time and that you pick up after yourself. There is only one shared bathroom for everyone in the house. With compatible work schedules, it's never been an issue if everyone is mindful to keep bathroom use between 10-15 minutes each time. I want to communicate my expectations clearly rather than have a misunderstanding and create resentment later. My intention is to find a balance between meeting my needs for quiet work/study hours and providing an environment where you feel comfortable and at ease in your temporary home. What I am Looking for - I am looking for one person to rent out the room short term and open to a longer term if compatible. - Someone who works a 10AM-6PM 4-5 days a week or a predictable schedule. Overnights shifts can work too - if you have a pet, work from home, or have a non-scheduled/unpredictable job please keep searching, we would not be a good match.
