Le Pintadeau Cottage – Dinan, riverside cottage

Le Pintadeau Cottage is one of two cottages and five apartments that are all located within the grounds and house of ‘Val Rive’, beside the beautiful Rance river. It’s located in the quaint quartier of Léhon on the outskirts of the historic town of Dinan – one of the best-preserved medieval towns in France. Whether visiting the local surroundings or exploring all that Brittany has to offer, Val Rive is the perfect base location. Excellent for walking or cycling holidays! The space Le Pintadeau cottage is spacious, well equipped and fully furnished to a high standard in the Bréton style. The accommodation is on two floors – an open plan lounge, dining and newly fitted kitchen area, together with shower room/WC on the ground floor, and two bedrooms upstairs. It has beautiful views across to the river and out to the secluded garden. There is also private, off-road parking next to the cottage. Guest access Guests have access to the main building of Val Rive, the shared patio and large terraced garden. Inside Val Rive there is a room by the stairs on the ground floor with a washing machine, clothes horses and vacuum cleaner which you are free to use. Other things to note We whole-heartedly recommend ‘La Marmite’ restaurant just around the corner in the street immediately to the side of Val Rive. It’s an extremely friendly convivial restaurant, serving traditional French cuisine, using only the best locally sourced ingredients. There is also a lovely boulangerie/pâtisserie, barely 5 minutes walk away in Léhon, selling a wonderful selection of pastries along with fresh loaves for your usual day-to-day requirements.
