Magalas Top Apartment
Description
Magalas is a lively mediterranean village in the heart of the South of France's wine region, with shops, bars, restaurants, train station, 15 minutes from Béziers, 15 minutes from the A9 and A 75 motorways and 25 minutes from the coast. The residence is a large character village house with a terrace (the old pharmacy of the village), with an additional apartment and studios to rent on request. It is well located right in the centre of the village, close to all shops and public transport. The space Magalas Top Apartment is on the top floor and has space for up to 6 guests, with a kitchenette, balcony, laundry, dining and living areas. A beautiful retreat for the whole family right in the centre of a wonderful medieval village. Other things to note From a recent guest: 'Chateau Serjac every Friday night for July and August was truly stunning and so close. The bars and village restaurants in Puimisson, Puissalicon, Autignac and the smarter restaurant Silva Plana in Laurens are all top of our list. Saturdays at the Pezenas market and then lunch at Chez Paul is a fabulous combination.' American author and writer Scott Dodgson writes: ‘Why Magalas, France? It is an authentic French working village. No frills. No antique markets. There is karaoke at the local restaurant and bar. Off key dreamers belting out songs they practiced in the shower… As I write this, the church bell is ringing for twelve o’clock mass. The smell of burning wood, the clippings from the vines, wafts through the air.’
