The Refuge du Peintre, located in the middle of a wooded park, offers 3 romantic guest rooms: MARIANE, MANON and JOSEPHINE Typical Gironde house on the edge of the Dordogne between land, heritage and vineyards Breakfasts are included and served until 9:30 a.m. in the large dining room overlooking the park or on the terrace. Adjacent to the House, the GITE du Refuge du Peintre can accommodate 6 people Total capacity of the house 12 adults The space It is the family home, a former bakery of a grandfather, then a wine estate and finally the refuge of our holidays while my parents taught "around" the world. When she retired, my mom wanted to continue her desire to travel by welcoming guests to this family home that she redesigned and tastefully decorated. Passionate about painting, the walls are marked with her works evolving over time. Each of the 4 bedrooms (Mariane, Joséphine, Manon and Marquise) are in the image of these somewhat revolutionary but also sensual women who have marked the history of France and France (my mother's first name). I am taking over the torch of this family home to "continue" this beautiful journey with the desire to share some little secrets about the treasures of our beautiful region rich in gastronomy, heritage and art of living.
