Located just two short blocks from the north side of Taylor University, you will enjoy the clean, airy space that will be your private retreat during your stay. This 3 bedroom house has a cheerful living room, fully stocked kitchen, dining room, laundry room and 2 full bathrooms. The beautiful queen master is on the FIRST FLOOR, as are both bathrooms. There is WIFI throughout the house, along with Roku and YouTubeTV on both TVs. The kitchen is well appointed and fully stocked, including a DISHWASHER (rare around here), fridge with ice maker, stove/oven, crockpot, full size microwave, large sink and coffee pot. Enjoy your meals at the bar/island or in the dining room. Everything you need is there to whip up some wonderful meals for your family and favorite college students. You can park your car at the house and be at the Student Center and Rediger Chapel in 5 minutes if you'd like to walk. We will provide your bedding, towels, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and make-up wipes. Just let us know what else you need to enjoy your time with us! The entire house is yours to enjoy. We have key-less entry, making it convenient for everyone in your party to come and go as needed. Although I'm not usually right there, I have a team in town who can help if something comes up. Even though we are close to the University, our street is usually very quiet. You'll see lots of walkers and joggers throughout the day. This is Upland....no public transport. However, being so close to campus means that walking is a great option! Just a few blocks north on Main St, you will find two gas stations, the famous IVANHOE’S serving region-renowned shakes and sundaes (as well as burgers, etc), "The Bridge" cafe, and two stores that carry groceries: Wilson Country Store and Dollar General. Head closer to Gas City for many other options. Feel free to make full use of the parking in front of the house. Besides the driveway, you are welcome to park in grass to the left of the drive.
