Nestled in the heart of the South Peninsula of Cape Town in a valley surrounded by majestic mountains you will find the beautiful coastal village of Fish Hoek. 1 Mountain Rd is a newly built unique boutique style B&B overlooking the village and offering 4 spacious and well appointed rooms each with panoramic views over Fish Hoek beach and False Bay as far as the Hottentots Hollands mountains. 1 Mountain Rd lends itself particularly to couples. We do not accept children under the age of 12. The space Non-smoking Sleeps 2 Size – 30 square meters Elegant warm comfort gives that home away from home feeling. This spacious room is equipped with a king size bed. If requested the room is easily reconfigurable as a twin room. The en-suite bathroom includes a shower. Our elevated position on the mountain side provides guests with exceptional sea and mountain views. Each room has been designed to optimize the exceptional view, with floor to ceiling sliding glass doors and glass balustrade on the patio. Private entrance to the rooms enables guests to come and go at will, requires guests to be able to cope with about 25 steps with their luggage. Because of this, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate physically handicapped guests. . Guest access Once checked in, a private entrance to the rooms enables guests to come and go at will. Due to our location we strongly advise guests to have their own transport, although Uber does service the area. Parking is free and is both off and on road. During your stay Hosts Ray & Sanchia who live on site, will meet and greet you upon arrival, and do their utmost to ensure that you have a peaceful, relaxed and comfortable stay. While on the premises, all our guests are covered for any emergency medical treatment by Cape Medical Response. Guests can opt for a continental breakfast in our breakfast room on site, or a full English breakfast served on the beach at the Beachcomber Bistro on the beachfront 400m below the B&B. A mere 2 minute drive down the mountain, this is one of the Cape peninsula’s very few true beachfront restaurants. We have partnered with the Beachcomber Bistro to be able to offer our guests over 30 breakfast options served in an idyllic setting just meters from the waves. Breakfast is served from 07h30, and is available all day. Other things to note We are strictly a non-smoking establishment throughout.
