Welcome to Wester Auchraw Croft, a rare historic Highland croft in Lochearnhead beside Loch Earn. But ’n’ Ben is a private ensuite room with its own entrance, combining original eighteenth-century character with thoughtful contemporary comfort. Breakfast is included, making it an ideal base for walking, cycling, wild swimming, visiting whisky distilleries and exploring Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park. But ’n’ Ben is a private double room with its own ensuite shower room, exposed cruck beams, thick stone walls and thoughtful interiors. It offers a peaceful, characterful base for exploring Loch Earn, Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park and the wider Scottish Highlands. Guests are welcome to relax in the croft sitting room beside the wood-burning stove or enjoy the garden after a day outdoors. A freshly prepared breakfast is included, with eggs from our hens when available, along with herbs and seasonal produce from the croft garden. Ideal for walking, cycling National Cycle Route 7, wild swimming, photography, watersports on Loch Earn, whisky distilleries and exploring Balquhidder, Killin, St Fillans and Glen Ogle. Free parking is available on site, and one-night stays are welcome. Guest access Guests have private access to the But ’n Ben room and its private bathroom. Breakfast is served each morning in the Croft dining area, where you’ll be offered a freshly cooked breakfast using organic ingredients from the garden. There may be other guests joining at the same time. You are welcome to relax in the garden and outdoor spaces around the Croft. Free parking is available on site. If needed, there is also street parking nearby. I will usually be here to greet you on arrival. In the rare case I'm not on site, the Croft can be accessed via a key lockbox on the main door, and full check-in details will be shared with you in advance. During your stay I pride myself on offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere while respecting your privacy. I will usually greet you on arrival and make sure you have everything you need for a comfortable stay. I’m always happy to help with any questions or share local recommendations. Whether it’s a friendly chat over breakfast or guidance on things to do nearby, I’m here if you need me. If I’m not on site, I’m easily reachable by phone or through the Airbnb app. Other things to note I offer a range of optional holistic experiences on site, including yoga, reiki, yoga nidra, wild swimming in Loch Earn and forest bathing. Please let me know if you’d like more details. Breakfast is served each morning in the Croft using fresh, organic ingredients, much of it from the garden.
