The house has a single bathroom and a basic kitchen, features that make it perfect for those who are not looking for modern comforts, but prefer a family atmosphere and sharing spaces. By choice, there is no TV, but the house is equipped with an excellent Wi-Fi connection, ideal for those who want to stay connected without sacrificing the tranquility of the place. Outside there is a comfortable terrace, perfect for moments of relaxation in the open air. The area is naturally cool during the summer, which is why the house is not equipped with air conditioning. In winter, however, the environment is heated by a pellet stove and radiators powered by a methane boiler, ensuring a pleasant and diffused heat. The house is within easy walking distance of the village, where you will find all the essential services — bar, market, pharmacy, post office — as well as the picturesque waterfalls. A few minutes' walk away are also the bus stop and the train station, with direct connections to the main cities: Rome, Naples, Isernia, Campobasso and Boiano (Campitello Matese). A simple, authentic accommodation designed for those who appreciate genuine, convivial life in contact with nature. Guest access Ideal for groups, friends or families who love nature and outdoor activities This house is perfect for those who have no problem sharing spaces and are looking for an essential stay, surrounded by nature. It is particularly suitable for those who love outdoor activities: you can go canyoning in the nearby Carpino River, take refreshing baths at the waterfalls in summer, participate in excursions and trekking, ski or snowshoe in Campitello Matese or Roccaraso, and try climbing at the Morgia Quadra in Frosolone or on the other spiked walls of the surroundings. Reservations can be made at least one day in advance, because the house needs to be preheated, and for a minimum of three nights. It is also required that at least one person in the group knows how to manage the pellet stove to keep the rooms warm. Other things to note Heating Note – Country House During the winter months, the house is equipped with two heating systems: a methane system and a pellet stove. Methane heating: it is scheduled to turn on in the morning, from dawn to 9:00 a.m., and in the evening, from sunset to 8:00 p.m. Pellet stove: in the coldest periods, the pellet stove must be used both during the hours when the methane is not active, and as a supplement to methane heating, when necessary. Guests are required to know how to use it correctly and independently. Please note that the pellet is not included in the costs of the stay: guests must personally purchase the necessary fuel.
