'The Cottage' at Hope Haven Retreat- Peace awaits!

'The Cottage' at Hope Haven Retreat, offering space for peace, refreshment and restoration. Set within 3 acres of beautiful grounds, with uninterrupted views, fabulous sunsets, and extensive wildlife galore! Hope Haven Retreat offers luxury self-catering holiday lets with a God given vision to provide stillness and rest for those who are suffering burnout, or just an opportunity to retreat with friends and family in beautiful surroundings. The space The accommodation has a 'home from home' feel, which includes a spacious open-plan living, kitchen and dining area complete with log burner. The bedroom offers two singles (or a super-king size if requested), with a good sized en-suite shower room. The living area overlooks open fields and comprises comfortable seating. A double sofa bed is available upon request (For a suppliment charge of £25 if only 2 guests are staying, otherwise it is free for 3-4 guests booking). Hope Haven is close to many nature reserves, woodlands and river walks spread across the East Trent area. It is a short journey to Newark Showground and Lincoln Showground, which have various events going on weekly. Hope Haven, is a Christian run retreat, and has resources to reflect this in our holiday lets. We hope you feel at home and find peace here, whatever your reason for staying. Please note we cannot accept children under the age of 12 years at the retreat. Guest access There is parking for up to 3 cars outside the cottage on the driveway. There is a path which leads around to the entrance door. We will hopefully be able to welcome you and show you are few helpful things for your stay, but you are welcome to go straight in and make yourself at home otherwise. Hope Haven is located 9 miles from Lincoln City centre and 8 miles from Newark. Trains run from Collingham to and from both places every half hour to an hour. Collingham, only 3 miles from the retreat, provides a Co-op with cafe, butcher, post office, medical centre, chemist, various take aways and pubs/restaurants. Everything you need is nearby. There are lovely walks in the area close to Hope Haven and we can point you in the right direction! Other things to note We accept babies up to walking age, and from 12 years upwards. We kindly ask that no loud music is played outside or loud outdoor games are played, in respect for others staying at the retreat and for our surrounding neighbours. We sadly cannot accept dogs in the cottage. However we do have our own furry friend, and he will be very happy to say Hello through our garden fence if you wish to visit him during your stay!
