Peaceful location, only 10 minutes from central Karlskrona. The space Your stay Welcome to our cozy waterfront guest cottage on Verkö in the Karlskrona archipelago. Here you can enjoy a peaceful setting right by the sea, with a private pier, swimming opportunities and beautiful views of the Baltic Sea. The cottage is ideal for couples, families, nature lovers and anglers looking to experience the Swedish archipelago. The cottage is 50 m² and accommodates up to four guests. Large windows fill the space with natural light and offer stunning sea views throughout the year. The cottage includes: • One bedroom with a double bed • A bunk bed in the living room (120 cm lower bunk, 80 cm upper bunk) • Baby cot available on request • Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and kettle • Bathroom with shower, toilet, hairdryer and washing machine • WiFi and Smart TV Outside, you will find a private wooden deck with a barbecue and lovely views of the water. There is also a sauna by the sea on the property – the perfect place to relax after a day on the water or exploring the archipelago. For guests who would like to explore further, a kayak, SUP board and boat are available for rent. From the pier, you can easily set off to discover the surrounding islands, enjoy fishing, swimming or simply take in the peaceful atmosphere. Despite its tranquil location, the cottage is only about 10 minutes by car from central Karlskrona, with its restaurants, shops and attractions. Here you can enjoy the best of both worlds – the serenity of the archipelago and the convenience of the city nearby. Guest access As a guest, you have access to the entire cottage, the private patio with a barbecue, and parking directly next to the cottage. EV charging is also available for an additional fee. You are also welcome to use the pier and swimming area by the water. There is a sauna by the sea on the property, which can be used by arrangement with the host family. Kayaks, SUP boards and a boat are available for rent separately. If you are interested, we are happy to provide more information and assist with bookings. We live on the same property in a separate house, so we are always nearby if you need assistance or local recommendations, while still allowing you to enjoy your privacy and your own part of the property. Boat rental requires a boating licence or relevant experience. • We also run Verkö Kajak and are happy to provide recommendations for paddling routes, fishing spots and places to visit in the Karlskrona archipelago. • A bus stop is within walking distance, with frequent connections to central Karlskrona. • Please note that we cannot guarantee an allergy-free environment. Our cats, Sune and Sally, live on the property and may occasionally be seen near the cottage. • Out of consideration for our neighbours and the peaceful surroundings, parties and large gatherings are not permitted. • Upon arrival, the cottage door is usually left unlocked and the key is placed inside. If you wish to lock the door during your stay, please lift the handle upwards before turning the key.
