Molly has a garage style window that opens up overlooking our creek at the point of 7 little waterfalls for your sleeping and hangout pleasure! A shared kitchen and bath completes the 3 small structures. Full bath plus an outdoor shower makes for great accommodations. We're within 5 miles from State Parks and Deep Creek Lake. Come see the Garrett County stars, hear the creek and birds and be a million miles from where you are. Friendly dogs are welcomed - check other things to note about pets. Molly was designed and built for a line of accessory buildings for Hobbitat. We knew it would be perfect as a guest house! The sound of the creek is wonderful to fall asleep to. There is no need for air conditioning, between the cool mountain air and a fan, it's very comfortable durning the summer months. Invite some friends to stay at The Original Hob (separate listing) to share the common spaces. We do not have WiFi here so please plan to have real FaceTime! The shared spaces include the kitchen/bath cabin, a grill, the common area around the cabins, the hammock strung in the shade and chairs hung from a bent tree and the creek complete with some water chairs. Don't forget some water shoes! There is an outdoor fireplace behind host house that you are welcome to use. We are in and around and happy to help. Our cabins are far off busy roads making this an ideal space for all. Sandy beaches and hiking trails are close by with Herrington Manor and Swallow Falls State Parks and Deep Creek Lake is just minutes from that. You don't even have to leave to enjoy sitting or wading in our creek! The town of Oakland is just down the road. We have plenty of parking. We have 2 very friendly border collies on the premises that tend to adopt our guests. Guests bringing dogs: We love having friendly dogs but they do require extra cleaning. Please bring your pup's bed or a blanket to cover our quilts if they are used to sleeping on the bed. A crate if you plan on leaving your dog unattended and they may damage the interior of the cabins. (You are responsible for any damage). We do not mind having them hang out with us if we are home.
