Description
Walking distance from campus, this circa 1927 loft is an eclectic mix of modern amenities and decor with cozy cabin charm. The space Only six blocks from campus, the Artist Loft is in residential South Eugene. Walking or biking to events on campus takes only a few minutes. The total square footage for the main house and the Blue Room mini house is about 1100sf. The interior cedar paneling is complimented by modern cable railing and lighting. There are two audiophile stereos and an extensive collection of CDs with most music genres represented. For added entertainment, there is a vintage 1960s era Japanese Pachinko machine and 1976 electromechanical pinball machine. Two memory foam mattresses and hypoallergenic bedding will give you a peaceful night's rest. There is original artwork throughout the house and an antique Anatolian tapestry cascades down the 20 foot interior wall. In the winter, put a log on the fire and relax as the large three bladed ceiling fan twirls overhead. The reclaimed gym floor adds a touch of history and whimsy to the decor. The Blue Room mini house on the deck is a separate structure offering privacy to other guests in your party and features an antique high bed and tiger stripe bamboo floor. It's actually closer to the kitchen and bathroom than the upstairs loft area, but does require about six steps across the deck to the back door. In the summer, hang out on the enormous deck and fire up the grill. Bicycles are available to use and there are several excellent markets and restaurants within walking distance. If you're looking to stay in a generic apartment or something that approximates a hotel room, this probably isn't the place for you. The Artist Loft is quirky, unusual and unique, and we have no doubt that you will appreciate its charms and love staying here. Guest access This is a stand alone house with a second bedroom in a mini house on the deck. Guests will have free rein of the entire property. Other things to note I strongly support the Air BnB non discrimination policy! Peace!
