The Musketeers' Gîte - 15 people

At the foot of the mountains, in the heart of the Barétous valley, you can stay at the Gîte des Mousquetaires for a weekend, a few days, a week or more, enjoying the tranquility, space and nature. This fully equipped cottage, with a capacity of 15 people, is ideally located at the crossroads of Béarn, the Basque Country and Spain for hiking, skiing, mountain biking, etc., and meeting with friends or family. The space The Gîte des Mousquetaires is a cottage of about 230 m² located on the waterfront – the Vert de Barlanés – of a forest and in the heart of the Barétous Valley, dominated by the snow-capped peaks of the Pic d'Anie. The construction is timber-framed, typical of the valley. The cottage has independent access, parking spaces, a private park of 3200 m² with a covered terrace of about 40 m². The cottage is equipped with: - an entrance with hallway - an integrated kitchen open to the dining room (2 electric filter coffee makers + 1 Senseo, kettle, 2 toasters, cookware, dishes, microwave oven, fridge with freezer compartment + 1 extra fridge in the laundry room, gas and electric stove, shared dishwasher, washing machine) - 7 bedrooms (2 on the ground floor, 5 upstairs - sleeps 15) - 5 bathrooms (5 showers including 1 for people with reduced mobility) - 3 bathrooms (including 1 for people with reduced mobility) - a living room (with 2 sofas + 2 armchairs + stools, fireplace, flat-screen TV and digital receiver) - a living room (with tables and 15 chairs + 4 bar stools, buffet and iPod/iPad docking station) - garden furniture, barbecue, ping pong table + paddles and balls. - Important: the electricity consumed during the stay is charged to the customer on the basis of the actual amount. This additional billing rule is part of our eco-responsible approach, as the customer is invited to control their energy costs. Limiting water consumption, reducing energy consumption, means participating in a civic and solidarity approach to preserve natural resources and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
