The space Built in 1774, Timber Post is a historic colonial set on over two grassy acres of rolling farmland in quaint Hollis, NH. Removed from the hustle-and-bustle yet conveniently located just six miles from downtown Nashua, 25 minutes to Boston-Manchester Airport, and less than an hour to Boston, Timber Post is suitable for both business and leisure travel. Low-key and unpretentious, the property allows you to feel yourself and leave the rest of the world behind. The entrance is via an enclosed garden, with its curved brick walk, water fountains, and a canopy of trees. Once inside, the home's exposed hand-hewn pegged timbers, wide plank flooring, and massive center chimney fireplace exude warmth, strength, and rustic comfort. Unlike many antique colonial houses, Timber Post provides guests with ample areas for spreading out, relaxing, or socializing in the spacious great room, dining room, den, screened-in porch, or farmers porch. Upstairs are four bright guestrooms each with it's own character. The largest room features a fireplace surrounded by built-in cabinetry. This room also adjoins the smallest room making it perfect for groups or families who wish to stay together yet have separate quarters. Amenities include healthy full breakfasts with farm fresh eggs and locally grown products(weekends only), clean and modern bathrooms, ample parking, flexible check-in/out times, free wifi access, and wireless printing of boarding passes. Guest access Den with smart TV, formal dining room, great room, 1/2 bath on first floor, screen porch, gardens, sitting areas. Kitchen and owner's residence is off-limits to guests. During your stay Cancellation: Please notify us as soon as possible if your reservation needs to be changed or cancelled before the 30 day window. Thirty days or more in advance of arrival: full refund. Less than thirty days in advance: Guest is responsible for the cost of the entire reservation. If we are able to re-book the cancelled room(s), refund will be given for each re-booked night. Cancellations are not accepted by email or through a message left on the phone; you must call and speak with the innkeeper to cancel a reservation. In the event of a cancellation a confirmation will be emailed to you this email is verification we have recorded your cancellation. Check-In and Check-Out times: Check-in time is flexible. Vivian makes every effort to greet arriving guests and give a brief tour. If not, use the access code in your reservation confirmation to unlock the door. If arriving very late, please be courteous of sleeping guests . Check-out time is 10AM. Other check-in times may be accommodated with advance notice. Smoking: For the comfort of all of our guests, smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the B&B and screen porch. Smoking inside the Bed and Breakfast will result in an immediate request to leave and an additional $250 cleaning charge will be assessed for each room affected. Unlawful and unacceptable activities: Underage drinking, use of illegal substances, excessive drinking or partying, and all other unlawful or unacceptable activities will result in an immediate request to leave without refund. Law enforcement will be summoned if appropriate. Due to NH liquor law Guests may only consume their own alcoholic beverages in their private room or suite.
