Drop your bags, kick off your shoes, and head to the beach, just 300m away at the end of Rye Ocean Beach carpark. You simply can't beat the location of this spacious 5-bedroom farmhouse. Close to Ocean Beaches (3 min walk), St Andrews Brewery, Peninsula & Alba Hot Springs, National Parks, Golf Courses, and top wineries. With solid stone walls, high ceilings, a cozy fireplace for winter, fall asleep to crashing waves and enjoy sea breezes in summer. Perfect for entertaining indoors or outdoors. The space Thoughtfully designed to enjoy all of the seasons equally, a prominent feature of the home is the stunning stone open fireplace, that creates the relaxed ambiance this property exudes. The solid stone walls and high ceilings with open beams create a sense of grand, you’ll smell the hint of that fresh ocean air, not to mention hear the sound of the crashing waves in the not too far distance. There are multiple sliding doors to allow in the fresh ocean air. This home easily caters for large entertaining indoors and out or spill out to a private courtyard to soak in the sunshine. Ease into your stay with meals cooked in a spacious modern kitchen, which merges beautifully with the traditional elements of the home. Bedrooms are all a comfortable size with one having a triple bunk bed (which may be popular with kids)! Bathrooms and kitchen are recently renovated and clean. We want this to be your home away from home and as your hosts we are committed to making your stay an unforgettable experience. There are 4 bedrooms with queen size beds and the 5th bedroom has a triple bunk bed with a double on the bottom and single on the top (which is suitable for children and young teenagers). Therefore the house can accommodate 8 adults plus 3 under 18s (11 guests in total or 10 without use of top bunk). The house is professionally cleaned. Our cleaning fee does NOT include linen. A charge of $50/bed can be arranged for linen. Linen includes one bath towel per person and one set of sheets, pillow cases and doona cover per bed. The kitchen will be supplied with kitchen towels and bathrooms with hand towels and bath mat. These are professionally laundered. If you require linen, please let us know at the time of booking and we can arrange it. Additionally the property is not fully fenced - if this is a concern for small children or pets, then please do not book our property. Guest access Entire house and property gardens Other things to note Pet Policy: Pets are welcome on a case-by-case basis and must be approved in advance. Please note that we do not accommodate large groups of pets. To ensure the comfort of all our guests, pets must adhere to our strict rules, which include: - No jumping on furniture - No access to carpeted rooms Please be aware that the perimeter of the property is not fully fenced. If a secure outdoor area is a requirement for your pet, this property may not be the best fit. Additionally, an extra cleaning fee will be applied if pet hair is found after your stay. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a clean and comfortable environment for everyone. Heating & Cooling: The stone interior and exterior allow the house to keep cool in the Summer months. However we have a recently installed evaporative air cooling system throughout the home as well as a ducted heating system.
