I’m JANÉA, surrounded by vineyards, cradled by gentle slopes, and softly nudged awake by time itself. My creators are Melinda, a traveler from Taiwan, and Bernard, an Alsatian winemaker. I’m here for wandering souls, and for those who just want to do absolutely nothing for a few days. No one will stop you. Everything here takes its time—just like good wine. So if you’re looking for a place to breathe again, I’ll be right here, on a hillside in Alsace, quietly waiting for you to find me. The space ❤️ The Deep Red House "Designed for romance, with the side effect of making check-out bittersweet." The Deep Red House is my more affectionate side, perched closer to the sky, adept at catching stars. My decoration is a warm red—not the flashy kind, but the "passionate yet refined" hue, like someone you're tempted to pursue but hesitate to confess to. Beneath the vaulted ceiling, a double bed and a sofa perfect for whispered conversations await, alongside a minimalist kitchen that might inspire you to cook for your beloved (even if it's just a simple dish, it's the thought that counts). At night, the stars spill through the expansive windows; by dawn, the light spreads across the floor like a jar of slowly poured jam. The deep Red House isn't just about aesthetics; it's a silent, understanding love letter. All you need is each other; the rest, it will take care of. Capacity: 2–4 guests Size: Approx. 50 m² Style: Modern minimalism in red and grey, inspired by Alsace villages and wine culture Layout: 1 bedroom + attic sleeping area, open-plan kitchen and living room, 1 bathroom, large balcony Located on the top floor of JANÉA, Red House is a space made for love. With the best panoramic view in the homestay, its three large floor-to-ceiling windows invite the sky and vineyards into every corner. The warm red walls, inspired by the colors of Alsace, evoke both passion and quiet comfort—like a gentle flame burning through the heart of your stay. The main bedroom features a cozy 160x200cm double bed, while the attic offers two 90x190cm single beds, making it ideal for couples, close friends, or small families. The open space and high ceiling create a peaceful and connected atmosphere, where every moment moves in rhythm with nature. Step out onto the spacious balcony, where a 180-degree view of the vineyards welcomes you to bask in sunlight or enjoy a candlelit dinner under the stars. Guest access The Red House can accommodate 2 to 4 guests. The master bedroom on the ground floor is perfect for couples—romantic whispering, deep sleep, or synchronized snoring (we don’t judge). The loft above offers space for two more guests and is ideal for small families or friends who love each other but also love personal space. The extra-large balcony opens up to 180° of vineyard views—perfect for sunbathing like a lizard on holiday, or staging your very own candlelit dinner under the stars. Just a heads-up: 👉 If you're booking for two people, the loft will not be open by default. Please don't go upstairs treasure hunting—we didn’t hide any gold or mysterious strangers up there (we checked). Unless you let us know in advance that you’d prefer to have separate sleeping areas, we’re happy to make up the beds upstairs too. In short: Loft opens automatically for 3+ guests; for 2 guests, let us know if you'd like to spread out. We don’t make assumptions about your relationship—we just prepare your beds accordingly. Other things to note We’re soft souls with firm boundaries. Here’s what you need to know before booking: 🚫 No parties, no DJs. This is a place for peace, not a personal music festival. After 10pm, especially on the balcony, please keep it down—we have neighbors (and they’re not into techno at midnight). Repeated noise = possible early checkout. Not ideal for anyone. 🙅 Guests = booked guests. Only the number of people on your reservation may stay. No extra visitors, sorry! Want to invite someone for a quick drink? Ask us first—we’re nice, just not psychic. ⏰ Check-out is at 11:00 AM. Unless you tell us in advance you need a bit more time to hug the bed goodbye. Late checkout without notice = €20/hr fee, which goes straight to our patient cleaning crew. 🐾 Pets? Yes, but... Max 2 small pets. Keep them clean and well-behaved. No wild sofa parkour or unscheduled poops, please. 🐝Our Tiny Neighbors Here in the countryside, nature isn’t just a view—it’s an active participant. Despite our best cleaning efforts, you might occasionally spot a tiny flying guest or two. If you’re unable to coexist with insects, we kindly suggest thinking twice before booking.
