Casa Davina b&b Middelharnis

On the beautiful island of Goeree-Overflakkee you will find our cozy b&b for two. In the center of Middelharnis near the old port with its cozy terraces and shopping street "d'n diek" with nice local shops. On the island, you can relax & enjoy nature,sea and more! The space Casa Davina b&b is a garden shed in our garden of about 20m2 with its own entrance and patio. The b&b has blackout curtains, two single beds and a spacious bathroom with toilet and walk-in shower. For the hot days there is a ceiling fan and for when it is cold there are electric heaters. There is also a small fridge, a microwave, Nespresso machine and a kettle. There is a kitchenette but this is not intended for cooking. The wooden rafters by the bed are about 1.80m high, so you may have to bend over here for your head! When you walk out of the garden, turn left to go to shopping street "d'n Diek" and the harbor with its cozy terraces and restaurants. More in the mood for peace and space? Then you walk to the right, so as to meet the beautiful countryside. Other things to note Good to know: -Rooking is possible from two nights in low season. - There is a large, free public parking lot next to the b&b. Here are also charging stations for an electric car. - There is no television and no air conditioning in the b&b. Excellent Wi-Fi and a ceiling fan! - Casa Davina is particularly suitable for a weekend away or short vacation. - Dogs are sweet, but our b&b is unfortunately too small for that. -Casa Davina is in the centre of Middelharnis in a residential area. Possible noise nuisance from local residents and the nearby restaurants is therefore not left out. -Bakkerij van Helden can be found just 100m from the b&b - And supermarket Plus about 250 m away. From Saturday to Monday, it is possible to reserve a delicious breakfast at an additional cost of €12.50 per breakfast per person. If you would like to take advantage of this, please indicate this in your reservation. Breakfast is possible from 9:00 am and we will take you to the b&b in a picnic basket where you can enjoy it in peace. Jeroen is a professional chef, special diet wishes are no problem so let us know! * Tip; Book a table for dinner at one of the restaurants at the cozy harbor of Middelharnis. Especially on weekends it can be very busy here! * Brasserie 't Vingerling * Llev at the harbor * Grand cafe no.9 * Eetcafé Quatier Latin * Trattoria le Pinocchio * Or: Cafetaria 't Hoad at the beach of Middelharnis, Havenhoofd 7 Also, there are several take-away restaurants in Middelharnis. Like: * Chicka * Kaito Sushi * Fook Lam, Chinese/ Indian takeaway restaurant. * Sphinx pizzaria/ grill room. * Or: Head to Visafsag in Stellendam for a freshly baked fish from Poisson Cuisine. On Sundays, shops and supermarkets are closed on Goeree-Overflakkee. Except for holiday park Landal in Ouddorp, there is supermarket Spar open. And in the nearby village of Bruinisse on the island of Schouwen-Duiveland, supermarket A.H. is open on Sundays.
