Charming 100+ year old Hessel Bay home on Lake Huron. The house has a great view from front porch, back deck, and upstairs loft. The rental comes with access to the dock, dock slip for boat, access to a bon fire pit on the lake, full laundry, wifi, and fenced in back yard. The house has many games/puzzles/books for any less than perfect weather days. Child amenities available upon request include: pack and play, high chair, sit me up, bed rails, assortment of toys, jogging stroller. The space Our home is situated on the quiet Hessel Bay which is protected and leads out into Lake Huron. A great place for fishing, water sports, and family vacations. The town is quaint, with a couple food options within walking distance and the rest just 3 miles away in Cedarville. Our home is over 100 years old and has a homey but rustic quality to it. It is our personal vacation home that we make lasting memories at year after year! . Two queen beds are downstairs with a jack and jill bathroom. There is an open loft with the remaining beds which are not suitable for elderly or small children as the steps to them are quite steep and there is no bathroom upstairs. There's another half bath located outside of the bedrooms to not disturb other guests at night. There is a full kitchen with many appliances and outdoor and indoor dining areas. Our dock is out front of our house and 1 boat slip will be allowed upon request. The boat launch is less than 1/4 mile from the dock. We highly recommend bringing or renting a boat to get the full U.P. experience while in Les Cheneaux. Other things to note Parking: Right in front of house or in driveway up the hill near the deck What to bring: Life jackets, water shoes, a boat or jetski, food for particular diets (grocery store is limited if you are on a very restricted diet) Where to fish: We usually fish for pike and perch around 6pm-9pm every night. We boat straight out across from our house near marquette island and anchor or fish off of the public marina which is an easy walk from the house.
