Other things to note Finca Sábila is at an altitude of 620m above sea level, almost at the top of a mountain, with steep south-facing slopes that favour its amazing views of the Alcubilla river valley and the surrounding mountain ranges, with a very low population density. This area is listed for landscape protection and we have used traditional dry stone walls to create terraces so as not to break the harmony. In such a steep place we have developed this good way to make contemplation safe, also for people who are not expert mountaineers. The other key component is the cladding created by the vegetation. The result is a design adapted to the environment and so integrated into the landscape that the property is barely visible from the outside. A variety of selected plants allow the flowering period to be extended beyond spring and it is nature, with the joy of the surrounding birds that does the rest. If we add to this the small traditional house, comfortable and very well equipped, full of little works of art inside and outside, the jacuzzi on one of the terraces to contemplate during the bath the extraordinary landscapes during the day or the stars at night, we can get an idea of the fascination that this accommodation is creating in the majority of the guests who have been lucky enough to find it. Given its height and the absence of any kind of pollution, it is a perfect location for night-time observation of the sky at first sight or with binoculars during clear nights. It is halfway and close to Caminito del Rey and El Torcal, which are two wonders of nature in the province of Málaga. Given its central position in Andalusia and a few kilometres from a motorway, you can visit cities such as Malaga, Granada Ronda, Cordoba and Seville in one to two hour trips. A characteristic of the traditional architecture of eastern Andalusia is to make the windows ans external doors small, because the little light allows for milder temperatures in summer. There are many exterior green and stone spaces around the house, where you can enjoy the views, nature and light, during the good days, which are the majority. The house is registered as a Rural House in the Ministry of Tourism of Andalusian Government with the reference: CR/MA/02242 and it is certified by Marca "Parque Natural de Andalucía" from the Junta de Andalucía.
