Renovated old farmhouse on the Plateau du Pilat, built in stone. Two studios are available on the property — the one you have chosen, located on the first floor with a panoramic view; the other on the ground floor, facing the garden. There is enough room for two couples or a family to stay together, each in their own space. Each studio, which has independent access, opens onto a small terrace. You can also stroll at your leisure in the park, where you will find garden tables and chairs, and deck chairs in various places. You will see a few chickens in their enclosure. Each studio is equipped with a kitchen. Coffee and tea are available. You can have an electric barbecue; please feel free to ask us. There are a few restaurants nearby — especially for lunch, and in the evening on weekends. If you like, you can order takeout on weekdays from a restaurant ten minutes from your accommodation (Café de l'Arche de Condrieu) For small children, a travel cot can be provided — please ask us Guest access You can arrive at a time that suits you, except in exceptional cases, from 3 pm. We will be present most of the time, and it will be a pleasure to host you. If we are away, or if you arrive very late, all the necessary instructions will be provided to you to access the accommodation. A welcome booklet awaits you there, with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Other things to note The Pilat Regional Natural Park offers a dense network of hiking trails, including the GR7, which passes not far from here. We have walking trails available for you starting from the house. The plateau is also renowned for bicycle touring. The village of Malval and the Chartreuse de Sainte-Croix-en-Jarez are worth a visit. The Pilat also bears the memory of a textile industry that has now disappeared – silk spinning mills, weaving mills, trimming factories – whose old factories still dot the landscape. We are in the heart of an exceptional wine region. The Condrieu, Côte Rôtie, and Saint-Joseph appellations are among the most renowned grands crus in France. Most of the local winegrowers' cellars are open to you — we can guide you. Every May 1st, Condrieu celebrates its two protected designations of origin during the Vin et Rigotte festival: winegrowers and goat breeders present their products in a popular and friendly atmosphere. The wine fairs in autumn and winter are also an opportunity to discover and buy directly from the producers. The Jazz à Vienne festival is held every summer just half an hour from here - one of the most important jazz events in Europe.
