Welcome to a fully equipped, authentic Karst stone house. The apartment for 6 adults with a private terrace is located on the first floor, the host lives on the ground floor of the same house. In warmer months, the private terrace is a perfect spot to relax in the fresh air. Guests can also use the barbecue in the courtyard and have fun playing darts. Free public parking is available about 150 metres from the house. You're invited to experience true Karst hospitality and the peace of nature. The space This first-floor apartment in an authentic stone karst house a Karst stone house Pliska with half-metre high ancient walls, a large sun terrace and a view of the Karst courtyard - covered with 90-year-old vines - welcomes you with cosiness and comfort. Almost every corner of the small courtyard is enriched by interesting stone and ceramic artworks from the hands of the host. You can enjoy a quiet break or a wide range of activities, sit on the pleasant terrace, or take a bath under the stars in the evening in the apartment. You can have a picnic on our lawn, hidden among the vines, which you can also mow for fun. But no fire, the Karst needs water, not fire! Host Veronika with my friendly furry dog Lumpa and cat Plisko am inviting all people of good mood and open heart to my home in the beautiful Karst region. I will be happy to tell you a story about the Karst and the Crassians, some of which will make you laugh, and introduce you to the characteristics of an old Karst village. If you just want peace and quiet, you can enjoy it in the apartment or at the nearby romantic glade among the vines. In Pliskovica, full of village attractions (also called the bird village because of the many bird surnames of the locals), spending time in the village will enrich your experience. You will taste excellent Teran wine from top winemakers. You'll fall in love with stone when you visit a stonemason or wander among the karst stone dry-walls. The beekeeper will introduce you to her bees, who will share their delicacies with you. Find out about the life of the Karst people on a walk along the Pliska Nature Trail or in conversation with friendly locals. On a wander through the karst glade, you will meet cows, horses and sheep. From here, you can take a peek at Goriška and Brda, climb hill Nanos, the nearest Volnik or Trstelj with magical views from the Karst to the sea and from the Vipava Valley, through Goriška to the Alps, mountainTriglav and the Dolomites, swim on the Slovenian or nearby Italian coast, visit the magnificent white Lipizzaner horses in Lipica and play a round of golf there, descend into cave Vilenica, Škocjan Caves or Postonja Cave, enjoy the emerald Soča River by rafting, experience our beauty from a bird's-eye view on an air-taxi flight from Portorož Airport, and even enjoy gourmet delights at Michelin-starred establishments. Indulge in the beauty and magical energy of the Karst. You'll fall in love and you'll definitely come back! Guest access You can drive up to the house to drop off your luggage without any problems. The apartment is located on the first floor and is accessed through the private courtyard where the host lives. The host will warmly welcome you, hand over the keys, and show you around the accommodation. Once you're comfortably settled in and your luggage is unpacked, you can move your vehicle to the free public parking area, located about 150 metres from the house. Other things to note – Smoking is not allowed inside the apartment. You are welcome to smoke on the terrace. – Please wear indoor slippers provided in the apartment. – Pets are welcome! However, please do not allow them on the beds or sofas, and make sure they do not relieve themselves in the courtyard or inside the apartment. – Parties are not allowed. – The apartment with terrace is located on the first floor. I (host) live on the ground floor of the same house. – The courtyard is shared and available for using the barbecue and playing darts. – Thank you for helping us care for nature by separating your waste and placing it in the containers by the roadside at the village entrance. – Tourist tax is NOT included in the total price of the accommodation and is to be paid on the day of your departure in cash.
