The Domaine des Ormeaux welcomes you to an authentic setting, with 4 cottages and 1 guest room converted from old farm buildings around a courtyard. Our wish: to offer a haven of peace and quiet. To preserve this spirit, the place is reserved for adults (+16) and is not suited for festive stays and/or group gatherings. A family home since the 17th century, the Domaine carries on its values: conviviality, respect for privacy, tolerance, and traditions. The space Welcome to "Jeanne", a charming semi-detached house of 80 m², with two air-conditioned bedrooms that can accommodate up to four adults, and designed to be accessible to people with reduced mobility. This authentic residence was once an 18th century barn, built with a wedding dowry. During its restoration, we took care to preserve original features, such as the Périgord roof with its characteristic coyaux. In the large living room, two nesting boxes remain as a nod to the building's past agricultural vocation. Among the touches of character of the cottage, an old armchair, dear to Jeanne, seems to whisper memories of the past. 😊 Outside, Jeanne's terrace is nestled in a shaded courtyard, framed by an elaeagnus hedge. In fine weather, this welcoming corner becomes an ideal space to enjoy the garden furniture and share a meal outdoors, in a peaceful and green atmosphere. The information below only concerns the long-term rental conditions of the Jeanne gîte (November - April) From November to the beginning of April, the Adèle gîte is offered exclusively for long-term rental, with a minimum stay of 21 days. A specific rate is applied during this period. Electricity consumption: Electricity is not included in the rate. A meter reading is taken upon arrival and departure of guests. Payment for electricity consumption is made at the end of each month, and the balance is to be paid upon departure of guests. The rate is €0.25 per kWh consumed. Linen and accommodation maintenance A change of household linen and towels is planned every 15 days, as well as a mandatory mid-stay cleaning and a final cleaning. Guest access Here is the information on the shared spaces available within the Domaine: Swimming pool: A saltwater swimming pool, heated and open from June 15 to September 15. Spa: A jacuzzi and infrared sauna area, accessible at no extra cost. Open from 2:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. with use limited to 45 minutes per accommodation and per day. Accessible from April to November. Massage: It is possible to book massage sessions with professionals (additional service, by reservation, massages to be paid directly to the providers). Park and orchard: The Domaine has a 1.5 hectare park with relaxation areas and an orchard near the swimming pool where naturism is permitted. Parking: Each gîte has an unsupervised covered parking space, accessible from the outdoor courtyard. Laundry room: washing machine and dryer available, use subject to charge. Note: The Domaine is reserved for adults over 16 years old. These spaces are designed to guarantee comfort and tranquility to all guests. Other things to note Other things to note Included in your stay: For your comfort, bed linen, towels, and departure cleaning are included in your stay. Please note: Spa towels are provided only during the spa’s opening season (April to October). Seasonal Breakfast: From April to October, we offer an "à la carte" breakfast (€17 per person, per day) served in our communal dining area. It includes hot drinks, fruit juices, fresh fruit salad, bread, pastries of your choice, butter, homemade jams, dairy products, and eggs (upon request). Please book at least 24 hours in advance or mention it during your reservation. This service is not available from November to March. Wellness & Treatments: Spa Access: Available from April to October (closed from November to March). Massages & Beauty Treatments: Available year-round. We offer professional massages and beauty treatments upon reservation (additional fees apply, payable directly to the therapist). Quiet & Serenity: To ensure a peaceful atmosphere, the Domaine exclusively welcomes guests aged 16 and over.
