Home in Elk Grove

My home is warm and welcoming with soothing scents of coffee, apples and cinnamon as well as the occasional baking of banana bread. I'll do my best to make you feel right at home while providing you space to retreat, rest and enjoy your stay. Families, business professionals, remote workers, medical staff, entrepreneurs, artists, entertainers & pups are all welcome here! ~Please read all of the Description Info & House Rules before requesting to book. I look forward to hosting you soon!~ The space The Tranquility room is clean, comfy and relaxing. It has a queen sized bed with a memory foam topper. The room has a closet with hangers, small dresser, large bookcase and side table to store your belongings. I have a 2 story home with guest rooms and bathroom for Airbnb guests upstairs. Guests must be able to maneuver stairs easily multiple times a day. The room is simply decorated to provide a sense of peace and comfort. The shared living and dining spaces are comfortably suited for small groups. I conserve water so I don't always have the greenest lawn and there's usually some veggies growing in the backyard. I have a delicious persimmon tree ready to harvest in the fall and a well loaded lemon tree most months of the year. Neighbors are friendly and likely to wave at you. :) Guest access I provide plenty of space for your groceries to prepare meals. There is ample seating in the formal dining room and breakfast nook. I also have a patio table and chairs in the backyard if you prefer to be outside. Please be mindful that this is my home and do your best to clean up after your group. During your stay I am only a text away. Other things to note House Residents: I share the home with my adult son. Our Pets: We have a small Cairn Terrier dog, Penelope. She does a great job of protecting the house by barking whenever someone approaches the front door to enter, deliver food or packages. You must be able to accept and tolerate this. We also have an indoor/outdoor cat named Bear. He eats on the laundry room counter, and in the warmer months, is typically right back outside again. We do not allow him into guest bedrooms to protect those with allergies. Reminder: Please be sure to pack your own toiletries and laundry products.
