The Old Kennels - Pretty Loft Apartment in Devon

Beautiful loft apartment at 'The Old Kennels’ over our artists studio provides the perfect base for exploring the rolling Devon countryside. Two bedrooms (four single beds or double and twin), two bathrooms, kitchen/dining room, lounge and terrace with seating and little garden. Perfect for a couple, friends or family stay. Located conveniently for Dunkeswell Airfield, between the villages of Dunkeswell and Hemyock, in the middle of the Blackdown Hills, a central location for exploring Devon. The space The Comfortable loft apartment at The Old Kennels has a lounge, kitchen/dining area, two bedrooms (which can be made up as one double and one twin, or two twin rooms as requested). One room has an ensuite shower room with wc and hand basin, the other a private bathroom with wc, hand basin and shower over the bath. The spacious kitchen and dining room (with table and chairs, electric hob/oven, washing machine, fridge, microwave and dishwasher) opens onto the patio with seating and small garden area. Guest access The Loft Apartment at The Old Kennels is completely private, it is situated over our studio up a flight of steps and away from the house. You will have your own little garden area, but are also welcome to walk in our 25 acres of woodland, there is a picnic basket in the apartment ready for your use! Other things to note Bed linen and plenty of towels are included if required but during the current circumstances we strongly suggest bringing your own pillows, duvet and towels. Wifi internet is available but your broadband is very rural, you are better off using 4G - best network signal is with EE, some networks don't get much of a signal in the apartment, but most do outside. TV. Kitchen has belfast sink, microwave, electric cooker, fridge, washing machine, crockery/cutlery and cooking utensils. Use of iron and ironing board, hair dryers, central heating, electricity & water are all included. We meet and greet guests, give you keys, show you around and answer any questions. Check in time is usually 4pm but we will try and accommodate different check in times as best as we can. Early check in at 10am can be pre-booked at an extra charge of £20 where we can accommodate it, if for instance you are getting ready to go to a wedding or family event. Check out is 10am, but again can be up to 3pm by prior arrangement & only where possible, at a charge of £20. We have many cats and a herd of alpacas (the cats are never allowed in the apartment and we ask guests not to encourage them in please!). Wildlife is abundant as we are so rural and there are wellies for you to use if you want to go for walks. There are also lots of nature identification books for you to take along. We are AA 4 star, Green Tourism Gold Award and Tripadvisor Platinum Green Leaders.
