Welcome to Our Holiday House Yorkshire, Bentham - doggy and child friendly accommodation. We offer you this recently renovated beautiful cottage in the centre of the old market town of High Bentham. Surrounded by the Dales and close to Ingleton there are plenty of scenic walks, eateries and days out to be had. OHHY provides family and dog friendly cottages in the Dales, which we hope will make you feel right at home. We invite you to enjoy this beautiful area, exploring all it has to offer. The space Our Holiday House Yorkshire offers a beautiful self-catering cottage in the old market town of High Bentham, with nearby pubs, restaurants, shops and golf courses; it is the perfect base to explore the wonderful North Yorkshire Dales and surrounding areas. The Cottage is located in the centre of High Bentham and is ideally positioned for all of the local amenities and train station. The back of the property looks onto the ‘Bentham Auction Mart‘ and the world famous ‘Hoggs’N’Heifers‘ hostelry; you can buy a sheep and have a pint, both within 20 yards! Please be aware that there isn’t any off road parking with this cottage, however there is an abundance of free parking within a maximum of 5 minutes walking, please see details at the bottom of this page. Bentham is Ideally positioned as a base for the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge, the Forest of Bowland; it is a gateway to the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District Our Bentham cottage is a recently renovated 2 bedroomed cottage that is fully furnished, centrally heated and free Wi-Fi . The cottage provides all of the comforts of home for your stay in Bentham, Yorkshire. It will appeal to families, couples or groups of friends alike, and, don't forget the doggies! Large kitchen and dining area that includes: Electric double oven and grill. Gas hob Dishwasher Combined washing machine and drier Undercounter fridge with ice box. Table for 4 High chair - upon request. General cutlery. Lounge, Log burning stove. Spacious yet cosy area that easily seats 4. There are 2 bedrooms: Bedroom 1 - double bed Bedroom 2 - double bed Modern family bathroom Thermostatic over bath shower Hand basin Toilet Towel radiator. Outside. The front exterior is a small walled area that has a minimalist feel with decretive pebbles instead of grass. The rear exterior is a small square of space that is the width of the cottage and leads up to the neighbours garage. We're afraid that there is not any private off road parking associated with the cottage, however, there is an abundance of off and on road parking near by. Guest access There is a local regular bus service and train service. There are plenty of scenic walking routes, and only 5 miles away is the beautiful village of Ingleton with all it has to offer. There isn't any private parking associated with this cottage, however, there is an abundance of public on and off road parking very close by. Other things to note Please note that the staircase is quite steep so may not be suitable for the elderly. We do provide child gates so that little ones can be restricted on the stairs.
