Log cabin retreat on 50 acre farm

Our log home is nestled in the middle of a 50 acre farm in the Ozark foothills, where you can hike, watch wildlife and enjoy complete solitude. You’ll love our place because of the view of foothills, forests, prairie, and farm. Amazing star gazing, a brook spring out the back door. Designed to blend in with nature - the 1900 square foot lodge has a floor to ceiling window wall. We're close to canoeing/rivers, Painted Rock Conservation Area. Jefferson City is a 20 mi. drive. Lake Ozarks - 45 mi. The space You have the run of our 1900 square foot house and the 50-acre farm! Enjoy our unique log home with awesome views, pine floors, spiral staircase, and original paintings. It's a true escape! There are three bedrooms, two upstairs and one downstairs. Two bathrooms, one on each level. There is WIFI, and some cell coverage. ATT and T-Mobile phones have 4G here, Verizon and US Cellular do not. But, did we mention escape? We have a 1/2-mile gravel farm road that leads to our home. It is beautiful but requires you to drive slowly to avoid scraping your muffler. Come getaway to nature with your friends and family! Guest access You have the whole house which includes a full kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and great room. The 50 acres surrounding the house is also there for your use. Go for a hike, watch wildlife, and enjoy the solitude and adventure. Other things to note Our home has a 1/2-mile-long gravel farm road driveway. Cars with low clearance need to take it very slowly! There are several bumps on the hillside to control erosion. You will have to ride to the left on your way in to avoid scraping a low clearance car. You will think you are entering the Outback, but it's only 1/2 mile to the cabin. Be courageous! We have an outdoor skills camp for kids that we host each year. There is a zipline on the property, but it is not available to guests due to insurance restrictions. We also do not allow guests hunting privileges. There are no ATVs or firearm target practice allowed.
