Guest access Dear Guest, Thank you for your note. Yes we can arrange a pick up taxi for Rs. 4000. The driver will hold your name at the train station. Note 1 : If you are already using Taxi Apps in Sri Lanka, their rates tend to be cheaper. But there were number of times that they turned out to be unreliable. Recent guest was convinced that he could book Uber for Rs. 2200. But that never showed up. Eventually asked us to send the taxi after 45 minutes. Note 2 : When you get down from the train station, you will hear many people shouting saying "taxi to nuwaraeliya for... " very low rates. They do this with a hidden objective. Actual cost even for a tuk tuk is about Rs. 2,000. Last thing we want is for the guest who is checking-in to think that we have cheated and charged them more. But we can send the taxi to pick you up.
