Welcoming, comfy and stylish B&B with Spa/Jacuzzi

Maison de Lavande is a comfortable B&B with 3 spacious ensuite bedrooms, tea and coffee making facilities, bathrobe, toiletries, wifi and use of the shared Spa/Jacuzzi. Loudun is a ten minute drive where there are plenty of restaurants and coffee shops. Chinon, Saumur and the Loire River are 30 mins away. Plenty to do including wine tasting, local markets, beautiful chateaux and villages. Continental breakfast is included, served either in the communal dining area or outside in the garden. The space Maison de Lavande was built in the 18th century from the local Tuffeau stone. It can be found in a tranquil village called Ranton, well known for its troglodyte caves and 12th century petite chateau. The house was originally the village winemaker’s house. The Pressoir can still be seen in our underground wine caves. Maison de Lavande has been lovingly and tastefully renovated in a contemporary yet homely manner. Exposed stone walls and A-framed beams in the upper two bedrooms adding to the character of these rooms. The bedrooms are spacious with many traditional features. Each has a modern ensuite bathroom and a dressing room. There are tea and coffee making facilities in each room, bathrobes, luxury towels and other little essentials are provided. There is a communal indoor sitting and dining area. In the large garden, there are several sitting areas for you to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. In a separate building to the side of the property, there is another al-fresco dining area where breakfast is served if it's warm enough. Also, in here, you will find the Jacuzzi (which accommodates up to 5 persons) designed to massage you and help you relax. There are three car parking spaces available which are contained within the secured property grounds. Guest access Guests are welcome to sit out in the garden where there are several areas. Please note that the terrace in front of the house is private. When it is warm enough, breakfast will be served in the out-building which also houses the jacuzzi, otherwise, it is served in the main house on the first floor. It is not necessary to book the jacuzzi, but you can if you wish. It is available to use between 10am until 10.30pm. One hour per night booked is included in your stay. Along with your room key, guests are provided with a key to the large black gates which should always be closed upon arriving at and leaving the property.
