Artist Oasis in Downtown Ann Arbor

Charming, cozy, and blossoming artist's flat in downtown Ann Arbor. Filled with flowers and greenery, warm candles, hundreds of books, antiques, original paintings and ceramic art. In a quiet, multi-unit house. Red brick, ivy-covered old home --quintessential Ann Arbor! Very central: Only two blocks from Main Street, Liberty Street, and downtown cafes and bars. Four blocks from Kerrytown (thrift stores, antique shops, farmers market, hip bars). Eight minute walk to central U of M campus. The space The unit consists of a living room, a bedroom, a bathroom, and a kitchen. All areas are available for guest use. Living room: has wood floor; bright, open windows that let in a lot of light; and is furnished and decorated almost entirely with antiques, hand-made ceramics (my own), or vintage/mid-century furnishings. Desk is open and available for use (though desktop computer is not). Exercise: Weight rack, dumbbells, kettlebells, leg weights, foam bolster, blocks, and yoga mat are all available for using in the living room closet. Bedroom: contains foam and gel Alswell mattress, high-threaded linens, original paintings (my own), other art prints and antiques. My clothing will remain in some of my closets, but there will be available space in the wardrobes for guests to unpack. Bathroom: has original ceramic tiling, porcelain shower and brand new shower head, multiple shelving units, and a bright lovely window. Shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, and other toiletries can be made available upon request. Kitchen has all amenities! Dishwasher, state of the art coffee maker, hot water boiler, toaster, Ninja smoothie maker, oven, stovetop, microwave, refrigerator, Brita water jugs, and more. All dishware and cookingware available. Guests may help themselves to tea and coffee designated in marked guests basket. (I ask that all other food items in the fridge or pantry basket not be consumed.) Laundry- washing machine and dryer- are in basement. Coin operated. House key opens laundry door. This space is my oasis to write, think, and create, and I hope it can be yours too during your stay here!
