The space Built as our weekend escape from city life, our property has three villas—two are guest rentals, and one remains our private retreat. Nessie’s is all yours during your stay. Inside Nessie’s: Ground Floor: AC living room with sofa-cum-bed, dining area, basic kitchen setup (microwave, fridge, kettle, RO filter), TV with Tata Sky. Cozy AC bedroom with king-size bed, wardrobes, and attached bathroom with solar hot water. First Floor: Spacious AC master bedroom with king bed, work desk, wardrobes, and a huge balcony—perfect for sunrise views or star-gazing. Attached bathroom with hot water from solar heating. Bonus small non-AC bedroom with a single bed—ideal for some quiet time (or snorers!). Sleeps 9: 7 beds + 2 floor mattresses. Rate covers 7 guests; ₹1000 per extra guest. We provide fitted sheets, comforters, towels, toiletries, crockery and cutlery. Location: 1.7 km from Nagaon Beach, 9 km from Alibaug, 58 km from Mandwa Jetty. Extras: Caretaker available 9 AM–6 PM (and on call later). Daily sweeping/mopping included. Complimentary tea/coffee sachets. Two free parking spots. Meals not included, but we can share great local food delivery options who deliver at your door step, including home cooked meals —Zomato delivers too! Other things to note Valid ID: Aadhaar, driver's license, or passport. Check-in: 2–4 PM | Check-out: 9–11 AM Early checkin or Late check-out= ₹1000/hr with prior permissions. Quiet Hours: 10 PM – 8 AM. Be kind, keep it quiet. No Pets: We love them, but can’t host them here. Garden: Look, don’t touch. No littering. Clean Up: Wash dishes, tie trash, dispose properly. Kitchenette: No cooking. Fridge, kettle & microwave (heat only) are yours to use. No smoking/vaping indoors — balcony or garden only. No drugs/Narcotics/weapons — zero tolerance. Eviction if violated. Power Cuts: Rare, but possible. Backup keeps fans, lights & Wi-Fi going ~6 hrs. If that’s a deal-breaker, rural India may not be for you. Insects: Nature happens even with window nets at times. Recommend closing doors and windows before sunset. Damage Deposit: ₹2500 in cash at check-in. Refunded at check-out if all’s well. Getting Here: Rural roads in Maharashtra can be narrow — part of the charm! We’re 700 meters off the main road - A narrow stretch, mostly paved but the last 100 meters is an unpaved patch, so drive slow and soak in the vibe.
