Total Size: 1,150 sqft What's most unique is the sun room where guest can enjoy breakfast and use it as a work station. It used to be the master bedroom but now converted and decorated with plants, collectibles and photos from my travels. It looks like a jungalow-style cafe cum shop. Bukit Batok Nature Reserve Park is about 7 mins walk from my place. There are many precious tropical trees eg rambutan, durian, jackfruit, noni. You may even see monkeys and bats eating these fruits. It is a quiet and serene neighborhood surrounded by tropical rainforest without much noise except passing vehicles and the singing voices of birds and insects. Join others from the vicinity in an evening walk, morning jog or hike up the nature reserve. The morning air is very fresh at 5 to 6 am and smells different from the polluted city! My house is situated at the end junction of Bukit Batok and the beginning junction of Bukit Timah. It is a walkable distance from my place to Bt Timah or a 15 mins bus ride to Beauty World MRT where lots of good food can be found. My place is uniquely situated in between 3 neighbourhoods; Bukit Batok, Bukit Timah and Clementi. There are direct buses (approx 15 mins ride) to the MRT in these areas. Driving is the most convenient option because the PIE expressway is just few mins away from my place. BKE and AYE are nearby too. Bus 77, 106, 963, 506 3 mins walk to bus stop 77 goes to Beauty World and King Albert Park MRT for transfer to Downtown line stations like Botanical Garden, Bugis, Little India, Chinatown, MBS etc. The bus service also goes directly to Orchard. 106 takes you to Clementi MRT for East West Line with stops e.g. Bugis, and Changi Airport. It also goes directly to Orchard, MBS and Garden By The Bay. 963 goes to NUS and ends at Harboufront MRT for transfer to Sentosa. It also stops at Hort Park. 506 is an express bus. It takes about 15 mins to Toa Payoh. Religious sensitive individuals to note I pray to the Goddess of Mercy and there is an altar in the dining room. No beef is allowed in the house. Kindly practise good hygiene and cleanliness etiquette. I provide home slippers. I try to practice an organic lifestyle and grow edibles at home. I probably have at least 50 varieties of plants. I also raise a white silkie hen that gives beautiful and delicious eggs.
