Mansell Starboard is a cozy, small harborview 2nd floor studio efficiency. It has 1 queen bed, a kitchenette, pull-out sofa, private bathroom, TV, wifi, private balcony, and a gas fireplace. Located in Southwest Harbor, 20 minutes away from Bar Harbor and the Park Loop road--- and minutes away from many park associated trails and a lighthouse. The Moorings Inn is a pet friendly, historic, ocean side inn with our own private beach and boat rental service on site. We pride ourselves in the uniqueness, history, and character of our property, and how it forces you to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life! Like many small businesses in Maine, we do not have a/c in any units or buildings---- our location right on the water keeps us nice and cool even during our "hot" summer days, with fans in all rooms and cottages to supplement. Guest access Guests staying in this suite have access to our Main Inns living room and den in season, our private beach and all accessories. During our off-season (Nov - May) the Main Inn building is closed. The building is locked, and due to the building being closed for the winter the driveway loop to that building will not be plowed. Please park in the parking lot and avoid the unplowed areas for obvious reasons. Other things to note This is a small studio efficiency as advertised, not a 1 bedroom apartment. Keep that in mind when adding people and pets, or if you require more space. This unit has a kitchenette, not a full kitchen. If you require a full kitchen, book accordingly. This uit has everything you need for cooking as far as equipment is concerned (ie silverware, pots/pans, cups, dishes/plates). We do not supply anything extra (ie foils, oils, salts, condiments). The kitchenette has a microwave, toaster, coffee maker, hot plate, sink, and mini fridge. As per the pictures, the bed is in fact against the wall. This unit is on the 2nd floor. No A/C in any units. This room has the potential to hear noise from the neighboring yacht yard. This suite is right beside another studio efficiency, and is below a 2 bedroom apartment. We are a historic Inn, and all our accommodations reflect that. We are not modern chic, but a unique boutique! All rates are based on double occupancy, and all persons over 2 are an extra 25$ per night (Airbnb adds the fee once you add the amount of guests). Pet friendly only if booked directly by phone or our website. All rooms have their own locks and keys. All rooms have heat, with a thermostat on the wall!
