*No Smoking allowed on the property* The 215 is a newly built, 1 bed, private entry apartment, nestled in the heart of the Viewmont area of Hickory, North Carolina. Conveniently located just 1.5 miles from LR college, just half a mile from the YMCA, and within walking distance to some of hickory's favorite restaurants including Fourk, Backstreets and Starbucks. The 215 is pet friendly, we do require a $20 pet fee. The 215 is dedicated, isolated space with private entry and covered parking. This is a basement apartment and me (host) and my family live upstairs. You can expect to hear normal floor to floor noises, as you would living in an apartment or staying in a hotel room. You may see myself, my kids or the dog in passing. You will not be bothered, but we are just a few steps away in case you may need any assistance during your stay. There is central heat and air but no separate climate control. There is a space heater provided for additional heat. The 215 is pet friendly, however we REQUIRE a $20/night pet fee for EACH PET. Animals can be no larger than 40 lbs. Please be sure you inform us of your pets include them as guests on your reservation. Violation of this house rule will result in a $150 deposit/cleaning fee. Between myself and my wife, we handle all guest affairs, and will respond quickly to any of your needs, as we we are home most of the time, and always have our phones on hand. The 215 is located at the beginning of the historic district of Hickory, and just across the street is the beautiful Corinth Church, est. 1869. Corinth is home to many weddings, special events and regular traditional and modern church services. Just a short walk down the block will take you to one of Hickory's favorite coffee shops, the Copperbean. Also withing a short walk is one of Hickory's most unique and interactive restaurants, Fourk. Near by Parks are Glen Hilton Park and Geitner Park. If your into bike trails Geitner Park is a great Option.
